For a winter nighttime routine, apply a generous layer before bed. In the morning, while brushing your teeth, gently massage it off with your fingers. This method effectively removes dead skin cells. Apart from the method mentioned above, it lacks sufficient hydration for regular daily use. - tj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedJun 9, 2024
It's great to apply generously on dry lips. The texture is smooth and melts well. Since it's not sticky, it's also good for those who dislike tacky lip products. The scent is too strong, and it tastes strange if it gets in your mouth. The fragrance is really off-putting. Without a tool, it keeps getting under your nails when applying with fingers. It's good to apply with a cotton swab. If you apply it generously before bed, your lips will still feel hydrated when you wake up. - is******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMay 24, 2024
I loved that it contains a scrub that's not irritating, and the scent is a delightful blend of rose and milk caramel! The fragrance lasts quite a while too! It has a slight scrub texture, but it melts quickly when applied to the lips and has an extremely lightweight formula! Personally, I prefer pot-type lip products to be a bit thicker and less lightweight, so this aspect was a bit disappointing. I also missed not having an applicator tool. The most important factor, hydration, was decent, but since it's not very rich, it tends to dry out quickly, so I had to reapply often. Because it has a scrub and comes in a pot, it seems more suitable for home use only. Compared to other pot-type lip balms and masks, the hydration wasn't impressive enough for the price to make me want to repurchase. To be honest, I'm not even sure about its effectiveness in removing dead skin cells, despite having the scrub! Since it contains a scrub that melts with body heat when touched, it's better to use a tool rather than your fingers to apply it if possible! - ye*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 16, 2024
As someone who's tried every lip product under the sun, I can confidently say that Nuxe, being a brand that takes oils seriously, offers the ultimate moisturizing oil for lips. Highly recommended! It's not sticky at all, and your hair won't stick to your lips. When applied over lipstick, it tends to smudge quite badly. It's not really suitable for layering with other lip products. Keep applying it frequently when you're at home. For outdoor use, you might want to invest in a lip balm that doesn't transfer as much. - bm******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 16, 2024
Apply a thick layer before bed and wake up to smooth lips without any dead skin cells! I use it consistently as a lip mask at night since my lips tend to crack and peel often. I prefer to apply it only in the evening as it seems to make lipstick come off easily when used during the day. Using it over a water-based lip tint is just so-so. For beautiful lips the next day, apply a generous amount before going to sleep! - eh*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2023
I received this as a gift set with Nuxe oil and I'm as satisfied with it as I am with Laneige masks There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. The only thing that might be a bit divisive is the scent, perhaps? - sl**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 20, 2023
Quick review: A lip balm that's more moisturizing than stick types and applies beautifully! I bought it because Nuxe is famous for oils and other products. It's made with 100% natural ingredients, with rose extract and shea butter as the main components. Although it's called a Berry Rose lip balm, the scent isn't rosy - it's more like a tea or coffee air freshener fragrance! When applied, the pink color is transparent and it melts incredibly smoothly, making it very easy to spread. It seems more hydrating than stick formulas. If you apply it before bed, you'll wake up with improved lip condition. Highly recommended for those with severely dry lips! Since it's not a stick, it's slightly inconvenient to carry around and apply frequently. That's why I only use it at home. The scent is like a car coffee air freshener, so if you don't like that kind of fragrance, it might be hit or miss. For me, it's a hit! For hygienic use, you could try scooping a small amount with just the tip of your nail and spreading it, or using a cotton swab or spatula.
