I was amazed by how lightweight it felt when I first used it. While it's light, it still does the job. It emulsifies well, feels gentle, and causes minimal irritation. It seems to cleanse effectively too. As I massage it on my face, I can feel little sebum granules coming out. Overall, it's a solid cleansing oil. If you're looking for a lightweight product, it's definitely worth a try!
ConsI didn't see any effects on blackheads or whiteheads. It's good at removing sebum, but why not blackheads...

I didn't experience any deep dryness after cleansing!
ConsI'm getting so many blemishes. I haven't even changed my skincare routine, but my mouth area, cheeks, and forehead are in chaos. It's really upsetting.

The packaging design is lovely. It causes absolutely no irritation to the skin.
ConsThis alone might not be sufficient for cleansing. If you're wearing heavy makeup, you'll likely need to use a lip and eye remover first, then this as a second step, followed by a foam cleanser as a third step.

Lightweight: The formula is incredibly light, not heavy at all, making it perfect for daily use without feeling burdensome. 2. Subtle fragrance: Unlike some products with overwhelming scents that are unbearable, this one is almost fragrance-free with just a hint of a delicate sweet aroma, making it a pleasure to use. 3. Effective cleansing: I conducted a cleansing power test comparing this to my go-to Witch's Pouch cleansing oil and Skinfood cleansing oil. I applied equal amounts of tint, tinted lip balm, glitter, mascara, eyebrow product, eyeliner, contour, and cushion foundation on both hands and tried to remove them by massaging for the same duration. (Note: The eyeliner I used was quite light and easy to remove.) The Witch's Pouch side still had quite a bit of mascara residue, with faint traces of dark tint and eyeliner. There was also a fair amount of glitter left, but everything else was removed well. The Skinfood product also left some mascara residue and slight traces of dark tint. However, it completely removed the eyeliner and left less glitter compared to the Witch's Pouch product. The rest of the makeup was also well removed. I was surprised that Skinfood had better cleansing power, as I expected Witch's Pouch to perform better due to its heavier texture. However, the difference isn't significant, so if you prefer a lighter texture, go for Skinfood; if you like a heavier formula, Witch's Pouch might be your best bet! Post-cleansing, Witch's Pouch leaves the skin feeling more hydrated, likely due to its texture.
ConsThere weren't any particular downsides, but I personally feel like heavier formulas remove makeup more effectively. So, once I finish this, I might go back to using the Witch's Pouch product! However, this is just my personal preference, and there are no real drawbacks to the product itself.
TipComparison with Witch's Pouch product: Texture: Witch's Pouch is heavy, Skinfood is light Emulsification: Similar, but Witch's Pouch performs slightly better Cleansing power: Nearly identical, but Skinfood is marginally better Hydration: Witch's Pouch leaves skin feeling more hydrated (In the 6th photo, the left hand shows Witch's Pouch, and the right hand shows Skinfood)

It's an incredibly lightweight oil that still emulsifies well. You don't need to use a lot for effective cleansing. Unlike other oils that can leave skin feeling very dry, this product is less drying.
ConsAs someone who's particular about ingredients, I noticed a few concerning ones. The quantity for the price is a bit disappointing. The container is tall and slim, making it look like it might tip over easily, though it doesn't actually fall.

So when I heard about this new product, I jumped at the chance to try it. The fragrance seems quite mild, and it has an incredibly lightweight, runny texture. I love how it thoroughly cleanses even heavy makeup!
ConsHowever, it doesn't seem as popular as the Black Sugar version... I can't help but feel like there might be fewer sale opportunities because of this.

There's hardly any oily smell. The lightweight and refreshing feel makes it suitable even for oily skin types. I have acne-prone skin that's sensitive to oils, but I didn't experience any blemishes.
ConsIt's a bit disappointing when it comes to dissolving blackheads or whiteheads.
TipPerfect for removing light makeup and sunscreen.

Packaging: Eco-friendly with detailed recycling instructions. The lockable pump makes it perfect for travel. Texture: A light, fluid oil that feels incredibly lightweight, not thick or heavy. Scent: Despite being a pear cleansing oil, it has more of a cosmetic fragrance rather than the expected sweet pear drink or ice cream scent. Application: The lightweight formula makes it easy to massage over the face. It emulsifies smoothly, feeling gentle on the skin. When slowly massaging around the nose area, you can sometimes feel sebum plugs coming out.
ConsIt takes a bit of time to dissolve waterproof mascara, but it does eventually remove it.
