- zn********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 9, 2025
This product offers more hydration than the soothing ampoule, making it ideal for those with dry skin. I loved the soothing hydrating ampoule so much that I bought this almost as soon as it was released. However, I'm not sure about its soothing effects. More importantly, the dropper doesn't pick up the product well, making it really difficult to use. I'd recommend just sticking with the original soothing hydrating ampoule instead. The reviewer compares two products: a new release and an original soothing hydrating ampoule. They express disappointment with the new product's effectiveness and packaging design, particularly the dropper's functionality. Despite high expectations based on their positive experience with the original product, they ultimately recommend the older version over the new one. - to*****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 9, 2025
Definite skin-soothing effect Thanks to the tea tree ingredient, it quickly calms redness when applied to areas prone to blemishes or after shaving. Especially effective when used at the first signs of a pimple, noticeably reducing inflammation. Light and refreshing texture As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I usually avoid heavy products. This ampoule is thin and lightweight, absorbing quickly into the skin without any feeling of heaviness. Helps strengthen skin barrier After consistent use for a few weeks, I noticed my skin became less reactive and my previously oily complexion seemed more balanced. While subtle, it appears to have a long-term effect on reinforcing the skin barrier. Gentle formula with non-irritating ingredients I was able to use this even on sensitive days without significant irritation. There's barely any alcohol scent, and overall it's quite gentle on the skin. Slightly lacking in hydration While it absorbs quickly, it doesn't provide that deep, lasting moisturization. During drier seasons, it's best to pair this with a more hydrating product. May disappoint those seeking a rich finish Being so lightweight, it might feel underwhelming for those who prefer the sensation of a protective layer on their skin. It doesn't give that intense 'I just applied an ampoule' feeling. Blemish care effect isn't immediate While it's good for soothing, it doesn't rapidly reduce existing acne or inflammation. It's more effective as a preventative measure. - lo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 25, 2025
I generally trust Mediheal products, but I started using the Tea Tree Barrier Ampoule recently as my skin has become more sensitive. It's been remarkably effective in soothing and providing deep hydration. The absorbs well, gliding on smoothly and moisturizing without feeling sticky. I'm particularly impressed with its skin-calming properties. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product! While I don't have issues with the product itself, the refillable packaging can be a bit tricky. It tends to leak during use, which can be a bit bothersome. When used in combination with a hyaluronic acid product, it's even more effective at soothing the skin and locking in deep hydration! - na*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2025
I switched from Etude's Soon Jung Toner to Torriden's Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule as I found the former too light and felt deep dryness. I needed an ampoule that could provide sufficient hydration since emulsions and creams were causing blemishes on my face. So, I changed my routine to: 1. Etude toner 2. 4 drops of Torriden ampoule on the face 3. Half the amount of Etude toner from step 1 4. Mix 2 pumps of Mediheal ampoule + 1 pump of Torriden in my palm, then apply to face My skin feels comfortable and free from deep dryness, so I'm sticking with this routine for now. Be cautious not to apply too much, as it may cause blemishes. The maximum amount was one drop each on the cheeks, forehead, and chin. The best combination was mixing 2 drops of Mediheal with 1 drop of Torriden Hyaluronic Acid. - mo********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 4, 2025
I've used several of the original tea tree hydrating ampoules before, but this one definitely feels thicker and more concentrated with tea tree extract. Perhaps because of that, it seems to have an even better soothing effect, which I really appreciate! The design is very similar to the original tea tree hydrating ampoule. It would be nice if they made the color pop more to differentiate it. - co********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I really liked that I could adjust the amount of serum when using it. I used it frequently during the summer. There's nothing I disliked about it. However, if tea tree doesn't agree with your skin, make sure to check the ingredients before purchasing. - 48******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
There's a subtle tea tree scent, which feels like it's good for the skin, so I don't mind it. I mainly used this when my skin was super sensitive and irritated, and it had a calming effect. I've gone through more than two bottles of this ampoule, so I really enjoyed using it. I don't have any complaints. It's so hydrating that the more you use it, the more satisfied you become with the product. - ae*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
This serum is better suited for spring and fall rather than winter. It seems to be more effective for soothing the skin rather than strengthening the skin barrier. There's an issue with the dropper slightly sucking the product back in. - ha******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 3, 2025
A product that worked wonders when my skin barrier was compromised in winter. Though it seems light, it surprisingly packs a punch in hydration, leaving my skin feeling moisturized. The dropper is a bit weak, making it difficult to draw up the product. It's inconvenient having to apply twice, but the quality of the product makes it worth the extra effort.
