  Pros

  While there are many jojoba oils on the market, I trust and use this one because it's from Es Nature, a brand I personally love. It's a pure 100% organic oil extracted using the cold-pressed method. I had a preconception that oils would be sticky, but I was pleasantly surprised. Once applied, it absorbs well into the skin, leaving a lightweight feel without any heaviness.

  Cons

  In winter, even when stored indoors, it solidifies like a solid if kept in a cold place. At first, I was really confused, thinking something was wrong. But I learned that oils naturally change consistency depending on temperature, so I'll need to be mindful of how I store it.

  Pros

  It's perfect for mixing a drop or two with your moisturizer when a barrier cream feels too heavy and a regular moisturizer feels too light during tricky seasonal transitions. It's surprisingly lightweight for an oil, making it ideal for combination dehydrated skin.

  Since I only use a drop or two each time, I wish the bottle was a bit smaller.

  Despite being an oil, it's surprisingly lightweight, absorbs well, and isn't sticky, making it comfortable to apply. It's great for winter when mixed with cream, and even on its own, it helps alleviate dryness to some extent.

  Pros

  Although it's an oil, both the scent and texture aren't heavy. It feels great on my skin whether I use it alone or mix it with a light moisturizer! My moisturizer was a bit light, causing my skin to dry out and makeup to separate in the afternoon, but with this oil, my skin stays comfortable all day long!

  Cons

  I couldn't find any issues with the product itself, but the container was a bit stiff when opening and closing!

  Tip

  When mixed and applied, it really helps make the most of base products that previously lacked sufficient hydration.

  Pros

  My skin has gone from extremely dry to combination dehydrated, but I always keep jojoba oil on my vanity 365 days a year and use it whenever needed. It's that versatile! The jojoba oil is similar to the Desert Essence product I use - both are unrefined, cold-pressed, and organic. However, I found this one to be slightly more concentrated. The Desert Essence oil flows a bit more lightly and absorbs slightly differently - it's a touch lighter. The dropper bottle makes it so convenient to use, unlike those you have to pour out. Plus, I love that it comes in a glass container.

  Cons

  It seems a bit pricey for the amount you get. I probably wouldn't buy it unless it's on sale... The value for money isn't great.

  Jojoba oil is often called a natural moisturizer because its composition is similar to our skin's sebum. It's suitable for all skin types (just remember to adjust the amount - use it drop by drop). When your skin feels out of balance or everything you apply seems irritating, mixing a few drops of jojoba oil with a gentle moisturizer can be a real skin-saver. It's great for boosting creams that lack hydration. In winter, I mix about a coin-sized amount into my body lotion or cream. It completely eliminates that scaly, snake-like skin on my legs caused by winter dryness.
