The scent is pleasant, and I've been using it from winter through summer. It's nicely hydrating, so I can't complain. I'm really not sure if it improves the longevity of my makeup. I always spray it on my skin and then again after I've finished my makeup, but I can't tell if it's actually setting anything. It's absolutely unbearable in summer, so if you're going to use it, stick to the dry winter months. This setting spray seems to work well for hydration, but its effectiveness in actually setting makeup and improving its longevity is questionable. It might be better suited for use during colder, drier seasons rather than in hot, humid weather. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2025
Hmm, I looked at the product reviews, but why are the product photos like this? Haha.. Anyway, this is my holy grail product! The volume is generous, and there's no need to worry about water droplets forming on the makeup. It's a complete mist spray that greatly reduces oil seepage and pore visibility for oily skin types. It's not a powdery, drying fixative, but rather a hydrating one. The finish doesn't change much whether you spray it or not - it just keeps the foundation looking fresh. It doesn't completely control oil, but it prevents the skin from getting excessively greasy by the evening. It just leaves a nice, satin-like glow. It never looks dirty or oily. There are glowy and regular versions, but I've been using the regular one consistently. I've been using it for several months now, and it works great year-round, maintaining my makeup base no matter if I'm using foundation, BB cream, or powder. During the mandatory mask-wearing times of COVID, this fixative really helps reduce transfer and smudging. I like to mist it on from about 30cm away after finishing my makeup. There's no difference in how my skin feels before and after applying it. There's no stuffy or oily sensation - it just provides an effective fixation without any issues! Not at all, I have no regrets. I will purchase this again. Just swish swish swish swish swish yeah.. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2025
Great value, lightweight, and nicely moisturizing - it's all-around good. If you spray it in small, even amounts, your makeup will definitely set beautifully that day! The only downside is that the spray doesn't always distribute evenly. That's the only issue I found! Spraying it on your makeup sponge before applying foundation is absolutely fantastic! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2024
1. It definitely helps makeup stay put longer! Even with heavy sweating, it maintains the look unless you rub your face vigorously. 2. Unlike other fixers that made my face itchy, the Clio fixer was comfortable to use! 3. After spraying, it feels like it's giving a moisturizing, adhering effect to the skin. 4. The staying power for eye makeup is seriously impressive... Review after using it during water activities!! Maybe because I didn't engage in extremely vigorous play, but my makeup didn't smudge or come off significantly. It stayed looking pretty! - The mist spray requires multiple applications, so the product runs out quickly! - If sprayed too close, it can cause pilling. - With extended wear, makeup may start to come off. I recommend spraying a moderate amount from a distance! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2024
I have thin, sensitive skin, and I'm pleased that after using this consistently for 2 months, I didn't experience any blemishes. It keeps my skin hydrated without feeling tight, so it doesn't dry me out. A great advantage is the fine mist spray that sets makeup without clumping. It's compact, making it convenient to carry around. Personally, I find the staying power to be about 6-7 hours. While it's a fine mist, the pump is a bit weak, so you need to spray about 4-5 times for proper setting. I feel the price isn't particularly cheap considering the amount you get. If the fixer doesn't come out well at first, shake it and spray about 4-5 times, and it should work fine!
