In my opinion, Moroccan oil is more of a body care superstar than a hair product. Out of the 4-5 products I've tried, this one and the hair mask were the best, while the most famous hair oil was the least impressive. Starting with Moroccan oil soap, then using the body emulsion and body serum, you can amplify the fragrance and achieve a more complete body care routine. For those with dry skin, rather than using this alone, I'd suggest applying a light, hydrating body emulsion or aloe gel first, then layering this on top for a more comprehensive care regimen.

As it's a thick oil, it doesn't provide a watery hydration. I'd recommend something else for those who prioritize smooth application and a hydrating feel.

Moroccan oil has such a lovely scent. It's an incredibly unique formula - thick and somewhat sticky, but it's a highly concentrated oil that absorbs right into the skin. Unlike other products, it instantly gives body skin amazing elasticity, leaving it looking incredibly smooth and plump. Being so concentrated, it seems to provide more hydration than regular oils. Due to its high concentration, you only need a small amount, so it lasts a long time.

It's particularly good to apply concentrated amounts on dry areas of the body like knees and elbows.

Even with the big advantage of being non-sticky for an oil, there's one downside: the formula is heavy and thick, so I don't reach for it much during the peak of summer.

This body oil is truly different from others I've used before. It applies silky smooth, and while it's definitely oily, it's not sticky at all. It feels like it creates a thick moisturizing layer on the skin, making it excellent for hydration. Despite being an oil, it's not greasy, so it's great for both dry and oily skin types. I love the subtle, signature Moroccan scent it has.
