I tried this again after 10 years, and wow, was it always this good? Objectively speaking, I'd give it a solid 95 out of 100. It's perfect for dry skin. Back then, I was hesitant because the finish felt too slick, but now it's just right. I decided to repurchase partly because it contains lactic acid. There are plenty of hydrating cleansers out there, but finding one that combines hydration and lactic acid with decent ingredients is rare. Usually, they're either not moisturizing enough or leave a heavy coating. Awesome Beauty, as I've experienced with their other basics, doesn't leave that suffocating coated feeling, which I really appreciate. I wonder if they could have used something other than cocamidopropyl betaine that provides both moisturizing and surfactant properties. I haven't experienced any side effects while using it, though.
