I prefer a cool-toned dark brown, but this one has a bit of a warm undertone. While it's two to three times pricier than budget pencils, Benefit is actually one of the more affordable options among department store brands, so I'm reasonably satisfied. As others have mentioned, it's best to buy it when it's on sale to get a better deal.
