There's a slight irritation, and despite being advertised as a lifting sheet, the lower part doesn't seem to stay in place well. Even when carefully applied, the upper part tends to shift. I'm not really noticing any lifting effects either.

As it's a hydrating ampoule mask, it provides a nice moisturizing effect. The sheet is conveniently split into upper and lower parts, making it easy to adjust and apply to your face.

The Hwahae sheet is incredibly, incredibly sticky! I was so surprised when I first used it! Even though I have sensitive skin, there's no burning, itching, or discomfort, and it adheres well to my face, so as long as I don't talk, I can do other things without any issues!

It's easy to secure the mask by smoothing it upwards from the center of your chin, one side at a time.

It truly fulfills its role as a contouring mask. You can definitely feel the tightening effect both during and immediately after use.

The fragrance is really off-putting. I'm not a fan of strong scents to begin with, and since this contains retinol, I used it right before bed. Unfortunately, the scent lingers for a long time... I question why a mask needs such an overpowering fragrance. If it doesn't affect the mask's effectiveness, I really wish they'd remove it.

It's amazing how well it adheres to the chin area without needing to hook behind the ears! I'm satisfied that it doesn't get tangled in my hair. Since I haven't used it extensively, I can't speak to its firming effects yet, but when I look in the mirror in the morning, my skin appears slightly plump and radiant. It seems to provide good hydration too.
