  1. Packaging: Attention to detail is evident, even considering recyclability. 2. Scent: A subtle, refreshing menthol-like fragrance? Despite no specific fragrance or menthol ingredients listed, it leaves a pleasant, mild scent. 3. Ingredients: Speaking of which, the ingredient list is impressively clean and straightforward. No pore-clogging components. 4. User experience (cleansing): Among the three mildly alkaline products I've tried (including Sooiskin), this one falls in the middle or could be considered the most thorough. In terms of alkalinity combined with hydration, I'd rank them as follows: 'Torriden > Sooiskin >= La Roche-Posay'. Excellent for evening cleansing, especially for those with oily skin.

  Cons

  For my combination skin (oily T-zone only), I felt a bit of tightness and rigidity, which was disappointing. But that's just my skin type. Those with oilier skin than mine will likely find this product works well for them.

  Tip

  For better removal of impurities, it's good to soften your face with warm water before cleansing. Make sure to dampen your face adequately.

  - The texture feels really firm when you squeeze it onto your hand and massage it with water. - It has a strong, cool scent. Usually, I'm wary of such scents, but this one was actually quite nice on my face. - When my skin is oily, using this cleanser gives a sensation of thoroughly washing away the excess oil, leaving my skin feeling really clean. - As you can see from the before and after photos, my skin looks noticeably calmer after use.

  After rinsing, my skin felt tight rather than hydrated, which I found a bit disappointing. However, this might be perfect for those who prefer that sensation. For those like me who enjoy more hydration, I'd recommend following up immediately with toner and emulsion.

  Tip

  I suggest mixing it with plenty of water to create a rich lather. This should allow for a gentle cleanse without irritating the skin.

  ☑️ Skin type: Combination (oily T-zone, dry U-zone) + Sensitive + Acne-prone skin! ☑️ Usage period: I'm writing this review after using it for about a week during my morning cleanse since receiving it. ☑️ Scent: There's a subtle, refreshing herbal or grassy scent, but with a slightly artificial note mixed in. It wasn't bothersome though! ☑️ Cleansing effectiveness: It cleanses really well, leaving skin squeaky clean! I even tried it after wearing makeup, and while it didn't remove everything perfectly, it worked better than other foam cleansers. I think it would work great as a second cleanse after using a cleansing water or oil! ☑️ Ingredients: My skin is super sensitive and usually reacts badly to products that don't suit me, but I didn't experience any irritation or blemishes during the week I used this. The fact that it's gentle even on acne-prone skin suggests the ingredients are really mild! ☑️ Lather: The foam has a slightly runny texture, but a little goes a long way in creating a rich lather! It feels soft and creamy, making for a pleasant cleansing experience.

  Skin type: Dry, with slight oiliness in the T-zone Texture: Dense white cleansing foam Feel: Soft and moisturizing, may feel slightly tight after washing (note: it's a mildly alkaline foam) Although I have dry skin, I've decided it's good to use a mildly alkaline cleanser 1-2 times a week since low pH cleansers can be less effective at cleansing. I only use this for evening cleansing. As summer approached and my sebum production increased, I've been using it 2-3 times a week. It doesn't make my skin too dry, which is great. I'd recommend this for most skin types, except extremely dry skin. It's good for dry skin types to use in summer for maintenance. The large volume makes it excellent value for money.

  There's a slight tightness after washing, typical of mildly alkaline products. This is manageable if you follow up with good hydration right away.

  I've heard it's great to use a mildly alkaline cleanser when your skin is producing a lot of sebum and oil. + Additional review: As I kept using it, I realized the tight feeling was because it wasn't removing all the oil! You need to wash twice with this foam cleanser to get that squeaky clean feeling. I use a low pH cleanser in the morning and only use this one at night.

  The feeling after use is oddly tight rather than squeaky clean. It's my first time experiencing a foam cleanser like this - it feels like it's not cleansing well, as if oil is still clinging to my skin, which is uncomfortable. Even when I use it as a second cleanse after removing surface oils with a cleansing water, it still feels strange. Due to its unique texture, I can't use it alone and have to mix it with a powder wash. The user experience isn't to my liking, so I won't be repurchasing.
