Surprisingly, the water and oil layers weren't separated! Though initially confused as it differed from the product page image, leaving it at room temperature for a few minutes seemed to resolve the issue. A helpful tip for those receiving deliveries in winter! 📍 Fragrance Contains lemon oil, giving it a fresh lemon scent Reminds me of Lemona flavor... The scent is stronger than expected, so not recommended for those who dislike lemon! I absolutely loved it 📍 Spray Quality The pump is smooth, and the spray is excellent It mists very evenly, like a fine fog Because of this, the amount dispensed feels small, so I usually spray about 5 times, or 10 times if I want extra hydration The fine mist allows for close-up application without issues 📍 Deep Hydration I tend to experience deep dryness in winter, especially after washing, but this product seems to have significantly improved that! 📍 Skin Texture After spraying, the skin feels incredibly soft It's great to use before makeup application for better absorption
Cons☁️ Longevity As with most mists, it's challenging to maintain long-lasting moisture, and this product also falls short in that aspect. You'll likely need to keep it close by for frequent reapplication ☁️ Blemish Care While more extended use might be necessary, I haven't noticed any significant effects on blemishes yet ☁️ Price While I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, the regular price in the 60,000 won range seems a bit high... However, I'd consider repurchasing if it's on sale on Hwahae
Tip🍯 I kept it in the bathroom to spray immediately after washing, preventing any chance of skin dryness. Sometimes when I felt lazy to apply toner, I'd just spray this generously and follow with cream! 🍯 Spraying before makeup application helps with better makeup adherence, and using it on your makeup puff can create a dewy skin look, making your complexion appear healthier!

This means in summer it quickly becomes oily and shiny, so I can't use even slightly rich products. In winter, it gets dry with some dead skin cells, so I need to carefully balance hydration and oil in my skincare routine. * It's reassuring that this product is 100% naturally derived without any additives. With only 13 ingredients all rated EWG Green and having passed low-irritation tests, it seems suitable even for super sensitive skin. * Texture: Despite being an oil mist, it's not sticky or heavy at all - it feels very light. Some mists claim to be fine sprays but come out uneven or in clumps. I love how this one sprays a truly uniform, fine mist that covers the face evenly. * Experience: After spraying and gently patting, it instantly replenishes moisture and nourishment. It's especially great for skin dried out by winter winds or indoor heating. You can spray it frequently without it feeling burdensome - it absorbs well into the skin, making it comfortable for combination dehydrated, dry, or even oily skin types. It seems versatile enough to use not just in winter, but also during seasonal changes and even in summer. After spraying, it leaves a beautiful dewy glow that gives the skin a plump, radiant look. I always use it to finish my skincare before makeup, and it helps my foundation or cushion apply smoothly without pilling for a glowing complexion. The scent when sprayed is delightfully fresh and zesty, like freshly squeezed lemons, not artificial at all. They use 100% Bolivian cusi oil and 100% Bolivian lemon oil, which are said to have antioxidant and skin-soothing benefits.
Cons* The effects don't seem to last extremely long, so you may need to reapply frequently. While I mentioned it's good for all seasons, very dry skin types might find it slightly lacking in deep hydration.
TipTry using it both as a final step in your skincare routine before makeup and as a finishing touch after makeup. This can help prevent makeup from pilling and give you a more hydrated, glowing complexion!

As a citrus enthusiast myself, I had an absolutely delightful experience. Overall, everything about this product is great. The scent is a perfect, strong lemon fragrance. It's fantastic for refreshing with a mist. The feel on the skin creates a radiant glow without being overwhelming. It seems perfect for use in offices, dry living rooms, cars, or airplanes. It came with a small container, so I shared it with my sister. We used it without any blemishes appearing. The fact that it's vegan is wonderful, making it gentle on the skin. I can't help but praise the spray bottle. Even though it's not a cheap product, often even expensive items can have disappointing sprayers. However, this Kuksungchae mist has one of the top 1 or 2 spray nozzles I've ever used. It creates a perfect fine mist without requiring much force. As it's an oil mist, it gives more of a dewy glow rather than a hydrated look. The scent is quite strong (though it fades quickly), which I personally enjoy. The intense lemon fragrance is very refreshing. It's been a while since I've used a product that truly lives up to words like 'premium' and 'natural'. I plan to keep purchasing this.
ConsThe reason I deducted one star is because: The price feels a bit steep for casual, everyday use. While I really like the lemon scent, it has a candy-like quality that makes it feel a bit sweet when sprayed on the face. This creates an impression that it might be sticky (though it's not at all - it's just a learned association). The scent doesn't linger for long. I'd like to suggest improving the fragrance to be more cosmetic-appropriate, perhaps with herbal or botanical notes. Personally, I like the strength of the scent. I think it's good to be a bit strong for refreshing purposes. However, for the scent profile, I feel it could evolve from the current 'sour+sweet+sticky?' impression to something more like 'sour+effervescent freshness+subtle lemon peel' for a crisper, cleaner lemon scent. That's just my personal opinion.
TipAvoid spraying it on your hair to prevent your bangs from getting greasy!

ConsPersonally, I found the hydration insufficient with a small amount, so I sprayed it multiple times, which made it quite rich. It was so oily it would transfer to my hands, but after about 30 minutes, it absorbed somewhat and became more tolerable. In my opinion, quick absorption is crucial for a mist, so this was quite disappointing. It also has a strong scent reminiscent of lemon candy or lemonade, though it doesn't linger for long.
TipThis might be suitable for those who prefer light hydration or don't mind layering it multiple times and waiting for the rich feeling to absorb.

With typical water-based mists, I often felt my skin getting even drier after a short while. What's more, the spray action is excellent, and it doesn't leave a slippery residue, instead finishing with a light feel. This makes it perfect for use right after cleansing. As someone with super sensitive skin and a thin skin barrier, I always check ingredients and certifications carefully. I felt confident using this product because it's vegan-certified. I received both the 120ml and 50ml sizes. The bottles are so lightweight that even the larger 120ml is convenient to carry around.
ConsBeing sensitive to fragrances, I found the strong lemon scent after spraying a bit disappointing. Also, while it has a light finish, this comes at the cost of reduced staying power.
TipI've noticed a significant reduction in deep dryness when I layer this mist first after cleansing, before applying other skincare products.

I used to apply oil before my toner, but waiting for it to absorb was time-consuming. That's when I discovered oil mists. I've tried ingredient-based oil mists before, but after winning this product, I'm absolutely in love with it. Here's why: 1. The spray is incredibly fine, like a gentle mist - it's fantastic! 2. The ingredients are so gentle. I'm not usually sensitive, but some vitamin products can sting. This one causes no irritation at all. 3. It provides lasting hydration like an oil, but absorbs quickly like a regular toner without any stickiness. 4. It's versatile - you can use it at any step in your routine without feeling heavy.
ConsThe scent is a strong, natural lemon fragrance rather than the typical artificial lemon scent found in cosmetics. It might be hit or miss for some, but I personally love it. Being natural, the scent doesn't linger long, which could be a plus for those who are sensitive to fragrances. The main drawback is the price, which is quite high. Also, based on my usage so far, I'm not sure about its benefits beyond hydration, but it's still early days.
TipIt works best when used at the beginning of your skincare routine. Spraying it after cleansing and before other products doesn't feel heavy and leaves your skin feeling deeply hydrated and soft. For those with extremely dry skin, applying it again after finishing your routine should keep your skin moisturized until the next morning. It seems particularly suitable for use during seasonal changes and winter rather than summer.
