Hydration It provides good hydration, but may feel a bit heavy for daytime use in the summer for my oily-skinned self. It's light and moisturizing. I was worried that a heavy formula would be too much for this hot summer, but even though it's lightweight, there's no sense of it sitting on top of my skin. It says it's a rapid calming product, but I was surprised to see that it really calms the blemishes and they subside the very next day. It's also a bit of a runny consistency. After applying, it doesn't feel sticky or tacky, but absorbs nicely and smoothly. I think it would be great to use on days when pimples are starting to pop up.

1. Among the trouble-prone and oily skin-specific products I've tried, this was the gentlest. It's truly a serum with absolutely no irritation... I couldn't believe it! It's completely fragrance-free! The texture is a translucent vanilla color and a thin consistency. 2. When applied, it absorbs moisturizing without any stickiness. Many oily skin and blemish products contain tea tree, which can feel cooling and refreshing, but can also leave the skin feeling dry and tight or overly greasy. This product, however, just sinks in comfortably without any of that. 3. It's so gentle that I wondered if it would even be effective for blemishes... but my breakouts didn't immediately worsen or flare up. After consistently using it for 2 weeks, I was able to gently dab out my blemishes the next day. And with continued use, my skin calmed down noticeably faster without leaving any marks. For those who frequently get breakouts, consistently using this can help minimize the cycle of breakouts coming and going, and calm the skin down quickly. I'd also recommend this for sensitive skin types!
