As someone with a summer cool light complexion, I can confidently say to all you light undertone folks out there - buy this shade, you won't regret it!

Benefit 1: It's like turning on a spotlight for your face, instantly brightening your complexion. Being a lavender shade, don't expect a strong color payoff. Instead, think of it as giving your skin tone a lift! I used to use the dewy D*dahlia lavender shade, but this product has more of a mousse-like texture. It gives a slightly more matte finish, though not completely matte - it's more of a creamy texture than an emulsion. Personally, I prefer this texture.

Benefit 2: Quick and easy application
Since mask-wearing became the norm, I went makeup-free for a while. Now, I just apply a brightening moisturizer before heading out. In the past, applying blush meant taking out the product, the brush, and then cleaning the brush afterwards - quite a process! With this, I just squeeze some onto my hand, pat it on, and the color shows up beautifully. It's a real time-saver!

It's a bit tricky to blend beautifully, and controlling the amount can be surprisingly challenging.

It has a subtle, beautiful purple-tinted color! The formula is smooth without any base flaking and looks lovely.

I was shocked when I tried using a brush instead of a finger puff, which I didn't have.

When applied with a finger puff, it blends beautifully like a watercolor painting, creating a truly stunning effect. I'm extremely satisfied with the result. The amount is also generous - at this rate, I could use it daily for a year!

It's perfect for applying blush in a bright and clean way! Even though it's been difficult to create light blushes due to my deeper skin tone, this one goes on with a soft, airy finish. I'd recommend it for winter cool-toned folks with slightly darker complexions - it works great as both a highlighter and a blush!

2. Heavy application can lead to a slightly stiff feeling and deep dryness, which is disappointing. However, this might improve in summer.

3. The large volume, while generous, discourages trying other shades.

4. Without the cushion container, the pump dispenses too much product, which would have been a deal-breaker.

As someone with a light undertone (13-15), I'm more affected by high brightness and low saturation tones than warm/cool colors. With my redness-prone face, I prefer pink-based products, but I shy away from high-saturation pink or orange blushers. For #01 Taro Mousse (purchased in a cushion set):

1. The 16ml beast-sized volume is a double-edged sword. I was hesitant, but the December Olive Young sale offering a cushion container sealed the deal.

2. The cushion container is a game-changer! It's so convenient, I find myself reaching for it exclusively.

3. This Taro Mousse shade is a trendy, soft lavender-tinged pink with a white base. It applies subtly, making it versatile as a base for any look. It suits me perfectly.

4. Despite seeming similar to other products I own, it's unique. As they say, no two colors under the sky are the same. The hand and face swatches reveal subtle differences.

5. The formula sets to a truly matte finish on the face, different from Mad Peach blush. While Mad Peach is more powdery, this feels like applying a matte foundation. I love the texture even more than the color.

With this massive amount, I'll be using it as a base for ages!

It looks particularly lovely when applied together with Mauve Solive.

The color isn't very intense, so it might not be ideal for those seeking a bold look.

The natural shade blends beautifully with the skin, especially when paired with Mauve Solive. It absorbs seamlessly, creating a subtle and natural look.
