The water-based formula absorbs quickly, and I wasn't sure if it was effective at first, but as I continued using it, I noticed it seemed to improve my skin texture. I've been consistently using the Klaap ampoule recently, and while it's not the only product I've been using, so it's hard to pinpoint exactly, there was a moment when I touched my skin and felt it had become smoother. It made me want to keep touching my face! The Klaap ampoule has always had a strong floral scent, which was a bit disappointing, but the O2 ampoule was even less appealing with an added alcohol scent. The moment I started rolling it on, there was a strong whiff of evaporating alcohol. Also, they provide one safety cap per set of ampoules, but since it's just dispensed through a sponge, I was worried about potential micro glass particles. Using the same cap repeatedly didn't seem very hygienic either.
