The texture was similar to a hydrating moisturizer. It spreads easily and smoothly, probably due to its high moisture content! While it doesn't absorb lightning-fast, it sinks in quickly after gently patting and spreading it a few times. It also doesn't seem to cause any pilling with makeup. It's not white, but has a very subtle brightening effect with an extremely light pink tint. However, it doesn't provide actual tone-up effects, so if you're expecting that, you might need to use a separate brightening moisturizer. It's not completely fragrance-free, but even though I'm quite sensitive to scents, I didn't find it bothersome at all.
ConsWhile I appreciated its high hydration level, it does have a slight rich feeling that's typical of sunscreens. It should be fine unless you're extremely sensitive to oil.

Here's my review for your reference!! ** Texture: It has a consistency of about 70% hydration and 30% richness, applying smoothly like a hydrating emulsion but with a slightly thicker feel. ** Application: Unlike mineral or white-cast sunscreens that have a silky finish, this product leaves a moisturized feel and spreads easily, making it convenient to use. ** Scent: Almost fragrance-free. ** Evaluation: I recommend this as a gentle sunscreen with a hydrating base that pairs well with makeup. It should work for dry, combination dehydrated, and even combination skin types. Those with very oily skin might want to test it first. I used to use Dr. *'s mineral sunscreen and a slightly brightening moisturizer sunscreen, but those felt a bit drying in winter and could interfere with makeup if not applied carefully. The Round A'round product, however, seems to be a perfect match for makeup!
ConsWhile it's a hydrating sunscreen, it does contain some oils, so those with extremely oily skin might experience increased oiliness, especially in summer. For oily skin types, I recommend sunscreens that provide a silky finish or control excess oil.
TipTry applying the sunscreen with a spatula as you would foundation, then pat it in with your hands to absorb. It applies evenly and thinly!! If you spread the product evenly, your foundation will also apply more smoothly, and it seems to help with longevity by preventing your skin makeup from caking or breaking down.

Then I discovered this hydrating sunscreen and gave it a try. It's neither too heavy nor too light, so it still provides good coverage. After application, it feels like I've applied aloe vera rather than sunscreen. It even has a subtle aloe scent. My skin doesn't feel dry after use, and it's as if my skin barrier has been strengthened! It's both moisturizing and hydrating, so it's like killing two birds with one stone!
ConsThis might not be suitable for very oily skin types. Given its hydrating properties, the sunscreen's richness could be too much for those with oily skin.
TipIn winter, just apply your skin emulsion and this hydrating sunscreen, and you're ready for a bare-faced look! It's so moisturizing that you could probably get away with wearing just this when you're out and about!
