It has a fairly thick consistency like an ampoule, but it's not as sticky as, say, mucus. The texture explains why it's called an essence toner (a hybrid between essence and toner). I recommend this for those with combination dehydrated skin like mine that gets dry in winter, or for those with dry skin! When you apply this product, your skin instantly becomes hydrated and plump, which is very satisfying. +) If you liked the Dajayeon Houttuynia Cordata Care Serum, you might enjoy this product too! I found the texture quite similar. (Still, everyone's skin is different, so check the ingredients carefully before purchasing) >>Packaging<< I thought the unique bottle opening would be inconvenient, but it's actually quite handy! It's easy to control the amount as you can drop 2-3 drops directly onto your face. Sometimes it's confusing how to properly recycle cosmetic containers after use, right? The Dajayeon Blue Agave Toner comes with detailed recycling instructions, so you can dispose of it correctly. Plus, it's a vegan product with eco-friendly packaging, which I really appreciate. >>Ingredients<< I like that this product contains blue agave extract as its main ingredient. (Most other toners usually have purified water as the first ingredient) It also contains hyaluronic acid, making it perfect for dry skin. According to Hwahae, it has zero harmful ingredients, so you can use it with peace of mind.
ConsI like it so much that I'm 100% sure I'll repurchase it. It's such a good product that it's hard to find any cons, but if I had to pick one, I'm not sure about its cooling care effect. You can assume there's almost no cooling sensation.
TipTip: I tried using it as an exfoliating toner, but it felt a bit slippery on the cotton pad. For this product, I recommend dropping it directly onto your face for absorption rather than using it as an exfoliating toner. Also, since hyaluronic acid molecules are a bit large, it's more effective to use a device rather than your hands for absorption! (I use the Medicube Booster Healer.)

You can apply it directly to your face, which I found more hygienic. It eliminates the hassle of using cotton pads or hands like with traditional toners. The squeezable plastic bottle makes application easy. ▪️ Pros Application: Despite its viscosity, it absorbs well without long waiting times between skincare steps. No pilling when applying makeup. It seems to provide significant hydration, which also helps somewhat with dead skin cell management. Gentle Formula: While I'm not extremely sensitive, my skin tends to react quickly to incompatible products. However, I've been able to use this daily without experiencing any irritation. Value for Money: The viscous texture means a little goes a long way, making it quite cost-effective for its price and quantity.
ConsThere aren't many downsides, but if I had to pick one... The product advertises a cooling effect, but when used at room temperature, I didn't really notice it. However, this wasn't a crucial factor for me!
TipWorks great as a toner pack. Easy to decide on and also good for modeling masks.
