The lightweight texture makes it perfect for summer use. I used to use Torriden serum before, but Somi essence absorbs even more effortlessly. It might be a bit drying in winter. If you have dry skin, I'd recommend using this essence only during summer months. Even though it doesn't absorb quickly, as someone with extremely dry skin, I find that applying this before makeup prevents any flaking. It's really great! I've even noticed I can apply it after doing my makeup without issues. I didn't really have any complaints. It was just a bit sticky? I bought this after trying a sample of the Somi cream that was given to me before. I love it! It's a gel essence that absorbs well without feeling sticky, which is why I decided to purchase it. While I got a good deal, it would have been nice if they had notified me in advance that the expiration date was approaching. It applies softly and absorbs with a hydrating effect. The texture feels like aloe gel. It's moisturizing and absorbs well. The pump dispenser makes it easy to apply. It feels a bit light, so those with extremely dry skin might find it insufficient on its own.

I'm writing this review after using the product for about a month now. As someone with super sensitive skin, I can't just use any product. I bought this because it's gentle and reasonably priced, and I must say, it's great value for money. First off, I love that it's a gel in a pump bottle, so I can use every last drop cleanly and efficiently. Being a mild and simple product, it works well when mixed with other more potent skincare items (like vitamin C or retinol) that might be irritating on their own. In the mornings, I use this product generously by itself, and the hydration is fantastic. The affordable price means I can apply it liberally without worry. While there's nothing particularly disappointing, if I had to point out one thing: Don't expect any special treatment benefits from this product. It seems to excel primarily in providing basic, deep hydration.

It doesn't cause any breakouts or troubles, so I'm very satisfied. It's so gentle, it's amazing. There are no particular downsides. It's not an extremely dense feeling, but more of a watery serum-like feel. I think I'll repurchase it. Haha
