As someone with combination dehydrated, sensitive, and blemish-prone skin, I was on the hunt for a suitable cream mist. This one caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try! It's affordable, has great reviews, and it's from Tonymoly - a brand I trust!

During winter, I find cream mists more hydrating than regular mists. After shaking it well and spraying, it instantly replenishes moisture, giving my face a beautiful glow! It would be perfect to use before makeup for a flawless application.

The formula is runny with a slightly translucent white color. While not unscented, it has a fresh, natural aroma - like plants. It's a subtle, pleasant scent that isn't overwhelming.

The spray power and particle size are a bit too small, which is slightly disappointing. You need to spray it several times to feel like your face is getting that full hydration boost!

I love that you shake it before use and it comes out as a fine mist, covering a wide area evenly without any discomfort. It's so convenient! The cream inside definitely provides hydration, and the moisturizing effect lasts for a long time without evaporating quickly.

Being a cream mist, it leaves a slight slickness on the face, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. The scent is quite divisive too. It has a somewhat grassy smell that I personally didn't care for.

It absorbed well and the spray was evenly distributed. My skin tends to be very dry, but whenever I used this, it became completely hydrated. Even when applying makeup, if I sprayed it intermittently, my makeup went on smoothly without any patchiness! Being a cream mist, I think it was extra moisturizing. I have super sensitive skin, but since it contains houttuynia cordata, it was gentle and worked well for me!

Being a mist, it does evaporate quickly... My skin becomes dry again. I find myself spraying it about 10 times in one go.

I've used about 1/3 of it, but I accidentally dropped it and the nozzle flew off... Now I'm just using it as a toner by opening the cap.

 It has a strong centella scent! I think it's even more intense than other cica products. Since it's a mist, the scent is immediately noticeable when sprayed on the face, so keep that in mind if you're not a fan of strong fragrances!

📍Texture/Effects
 There were two mists in the same Houttuynia Cordata Cica line, but I chose the cream mist because I needed deep hydration. It has separate cream and water layers that need to be shaken before use. When applying it to my face, I felt the ratio of cream to water was just right. It's incredibly hydrating with a rich moisture content, and thanks to the cream layer, it provides intense moisturization, giving the feeling of creating a perfect hydration barrier on the skin. It's also great when used like a toner... It contains all my favorite ingredients - centella, madecassoside, and asiaticoside - which really help with soothing and improving the skin barrier! I was so happy to find a mist like this, as they're quite rare ㅠㅠ

📍Packaging
 It's lightweight and intuitive, which I love~! The packaging is very on-brand for the Houttuynia Cordata Cica line, with a lovely green color.

For my oily skin, it felt a bit too greasy, unfortunately.

I love that it's not drying when you spray it. Use it before and after makeup for that dewy, glass skin look - totally achievable!
