It's perfect for long-term use! Personally, I sometimes get red, itchy patches that look like insect bites right after washing my face. When I apply a small amount of this intensive cream on those areas, the irritation subsides quickly! It's not just for the face - I've also used it on my body, for example, on areas that get irritated from rubbing against clothing. Surprisingly, the visible redness disappears incredibly fast, even before the itching stops. Most importantly, you can apply it before makeup without any pilling or sliding! Usually, even a slightly thicker layer of moisturizer can cause makeup to slide off, but despite its somewhat sticky texture, this cream absorbs into the skin amazingly well.
ConsWhen you first apply it, there's a subtle minty scent that rises up, giving a cooling sensation. This might be challenging for those who dislike cool fragrances. However, for me, it felt like applying a soothing ointment, which actually made me feel like it was even better for my skin!
TipMy routine involves wiping my face with a toner pad, then applying essence (followed by emulsion depending on the occasion), and finally using this cream almost as the last step. Even at this stage, it seems to absorb well into the skin. I've found that dabbing it onto particularly sensitive areas seems to calm them down even more effectively. I think it's definitely worth trying!
