My skin: acne, sensitive, enlarged pores, occasional cystic acne, combination (21 with yellow undertone) Preferred base makeup type: semi-matte + powder ⭕️ Coverage: medium-high ⭕️ Adhesion: medium-high ⭕️ Pore coverage: medium-high ⭕️ Longevity/Breakdown: medium-high ⭕️ Creasing: somewhat present Personally, I was quite satisfied with this cushion! I had previously used the Luna cushion, but experienced issues with flaking, breakdown, and inconvenient touch-ups. These were chronic concerns for my skin. This cushion, even when used alone, provides medium-high pore coverage. Typically, cushion-only makeup tends to look patchy and break down easily, but aside from some creasing, I didn't experience excessive breakdown or significant darkening. The second photo was taken about 6-7 hours after application, and while there is some creasing and pore emphasis, touch-ups can restore the look. I don't achieve perfect coverage, but with concealer, I can get a fairly nice skin finish. So I'd recommend this as a year-round option for skin like mine. I usually powder after cushion application, but this semi-matte cushion doesn't cake or flake during touch-ups, maintaining the initial beautiful finish. I also personally appreciate the mirror-like cushion case, which is convenient for lip touch-ups.
Cons
I have somewhat visible pores, and given the nature of cushion foundations, it's unavoidable that the pore coverage and blemish coverage won't be perfect! Especially around the nose area, haha. To achieve a flawless look, you'll need to use a separate primer or powder application.
Tip
The liquid that comes out when pressing the cushion should be spread out roughly on the lid and applied, so that the base goes on evenly and looks great.

Pros
The Hwahae is not completely matte, but rather has a semi-matte finish that is natural and beautiful. While many people say the case is not great, I actually found it to be quite useful as it is larger, so I don't lose it, and the front can be used as a hand mirror. The staying power is high, and most importantly, there is no darkening at all. The puff is hexagonal, making it easy to apply carefully. Compared to other cushions, the amount is generous, and the UV protection factor is also high!
Cons
It's a bit disappointing that the coverage builds up thickly. Especially when doing touch-up makeup ㅠㅜ I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer light makeup.. There is also some cakiness.

Pros
There's a mirror in front, so it's pretty! The longevity is really long-lasting and the skin becomes clean..There's no stickiness or accentuation of flaky skin around the nose, and my hair doesn't stick to it haha :)
Cons
The cushion is too large for the square, taking up a lot of the pouch area... And I wish the puff was fluffier!

This is truly my current 'favorite' cushion these days, and I'm not lying at all😎 First, there is no darkening whatsoever. This is seriously amazing. Second, the staying power is incredible•••My friends who use **** cushions and ***** cushions are nothing compared to me in terms of staying power. Third, for sensitive and combination skin, this is the one🫡🫡 I'm the type who gets pimples even if I change just one skincare product, so I highly recommend this! Fourth, since I'm a busy person who only has time to use toner pads and then do my makeup, this seems like a great product for quick and easy application!
Cons
If I had to find a downside, it's that I prefer a more natural look rather than heavy, full coverage makeup, so it's not really comparable to other popular cushions..And for dry skin, it can accentuate dryness a bit, so it's a minor drawback🌧🌧
