I could use it without any issues as it didn't cause any particular irritation or blemishes on my skin When applied before makeup, it pills like all other gels do I highly recommend mixing this with a modeling mask instead of just water. Try adding something like aloe gel. It's affordable and works wonders - Hwahae UserOily SkinJan 5, 2025
I actually bought this for an aloe pack, but using it together with the Booster Pro is absolutely amazing! If it dries before being fully absorbed, it pills like dead skin cells. Also, because it's so moisturizing and tacky, it seems to attract dust to your face! For those of you who have the Medicube Booster Pro and aren't feeling that tingling sensation... Try applying this soothing gel first! You'll really feel the stimulation on your face. I used to use it with an emulsion that had more oil, but when I switched to this, the results were incredible! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 12, 2024
About two months ago, I went out bare-faced without sunscreen to get a new phone. Of course, that day the sun was blazing like crazy! Even though I was only exposed to that intense sunlight for about 30 minutes, my face turned bright red, stinging, and no amount of vigorous washing with cold water could cool it down. Then I remembered I had some Nature Republic Aloe Vera gel stashed away. I slathered it on generously and topped it with a half cotton pad soaked in water as a makeshift mask. The soothing effect was incredible! First, my red face (which is usually flushed due to chronic redness, but this time it was like a burning sweet potato) calmed down. The stinging sensation also subsided. You know that thing oily, acne-prone skin does when it overheats? Those tiny bumps that pop up everywhere? Those disappeared too. For real! After experiencing this miracle, I now always do an aloe pack when I've been out in the summer heat or when my face feels irritated from using the wrong skincare products (a sign my skin's about to freak out). It's absolute bliss! I use it as part of my skincare routine before makeup, like using a toner pad mask to cool down the skin, and finish with just the aloe gel as a moisturizer. (I have extremely oily skin, so using anything on top of the aloe gel feels too heavy...) This helps my makeup stay put even in summer. It's so good, it's unreal! Any leftover aloe gel, I either let it absorb or finish with a modeling mask. It feels wonderfully cool and refreshing. Like with other skincare products, if you apply too much, it can pill. Just use a moderate amount. If you follow up the aloe pack with a Lindsay Cool Tea Tree modeling mask, oh boy~ It's the ultimate in cooling sensation. When applying the aloe pack, using a spatula like the ones for modeling masks makes it easy to apply a thick layer on your face and is more convenient. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 7, 2024
It's wonderfully hydrating and I love that it doesn't contain ethanol. The texture doesn't drip or run. If you apply too much, it can pill like dead skin cells. Still, it's great for a mask routine.
