Honestly... my skin usually breaks out in red bumps immediately if a toner doesn't suit me. But trust me on this one... It instantly cools down any burning sensation, and I've been using this toner like an exfoliating toner. It made my makeup application absolutely flawless.

The texture of this toner is very watery, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with very dry or dehydrated skin! It might lead to deep dryness or a tight feeling.

First off, my skin is super sensitive and prone to redness, allergic reactions, and all sorts of issues. The Benton Houttuynia Cordata Toner is a lightweight, water-like skin that I could easily apply with a thin cotton pad. Despite my sensitive skin that usually reacts quickly to incompatible products, this toner caused no irritation whatsoever. When I applied toner-soaked cotton pads for about 10 minutes before makeup, it quickly reduced any burning sensation and, most importantly, made my makeup go on flawlessly. It also helped calm redness and allergic reactions when applied. It's so gentle that it never caused any blemishes on my face! Highly recommended for those with super sensitive skin!

For me, there are no drawbacks, so I think I'll keep using it for life.

I'm using Benton's sunscreen along with their toner, and they both absorb well into my skin.
