The ingredients are not that great for a lip care product.
It applies transparently and has a liquid-like color balm feel, so it doesn't provide much color payoff even when layered.
The product page says it can be used as a cheek tint, but the formula seems like it would cause the base to peel off when used that way.
Also, the amount that comes out with each application is very small, so you have to dip the applicator in multiple times.
Lastly, the packaging is chunky and inconvenient to carry around.

The 04 Moebrain that I used in the Moose lip ritual is a red base, but the plum tone has a subtle shift. It's a perfect daily glow lip for cool-toned skin, with a unique formula that doesn't cling to flakes while providing a comfortable, lightweight application.

Given the nature of the matte formula, it's inevitable that it will become dry over time.

The Mousse Lip Tint is truly great in terms of its formula. It has good spreadability and doesn't leave a cakey residue. Moreover, the calm and pretty mauve color is very pleasing to me.

I recommend applying just one or two thin layers. This is not a product that fully covers the lips, but rather creates a natural, diffused look.

The amount dispensed is very small. The photo shows my hand after first opening and swatching it. This is a common complaint about the product. However, as someone who usually uses tint products that dispense a lot, I actually found this to be a positive, as it prevents waste.
The self-adjusting application is great, and there is less mess around the opening as well, making it easier to maintain.

I have dry lips, so I've never tried matte lipsticks before. Since it's summer, I was looking for a more dewy, glossy product, but after reviewing all the options, I decided to purchase shade 4, Moebrain, as I believe I have a cool skin tone.
The water tint applies and leaves a stained, seamless finish. There is minimal transfer, and it wipes off easily with a makeup wipe, but I still feel it provides good color payoff for summer wear!
The scent is a light chocolate note, which is a significant improvement over the Carecell lip tint.
