As a cool-toned winter type, I'm revisiting TonyMoly after a long time. I remember it from my 20s for its incredible staining power. The 'Cool Rosy' shade is a pleasant surprise. I usually don't like overly pink colors, but this winter-cool tone keeps recommending pinkish hues. This one has just the right amount of pink without being too glossy, which I love. The staining power is excellent as always, but it's not overwhelming, which is great.

There's not much to complain about. If you prefer glossy finishes, you might not like this. Personally, I wish the stain lasted even longer.

I was looking for a long-lasting lipstick and decided to give this a try. After researching, I found that Tony Moly Perfect Lips Shocking Lip was the most popular. I tested several at Olive Young, but couldn't find the color I wanted, so I ended up buying the Waterful Butter version.

✅ Color:
I think I have a warm undertone, but my skin is on the darker side. I typically use shade 23. I've always worn coral shades, but they made me look a bit unsophisticated. So, even though it's a cool-toned shade, I felt 13 Cool Rosy suited me better. It's a summer cool tone color - a slightly muted pink. It's like a dried rose color with a drop of pink mixed in. It's a bright, fresh color perfect for spring and summer.

✅ Application:
The application is fantastic! It's buttery and creamy, gliding on super smoothly. It feels amazing to apply. After application, it doesn't look shiny but feels moisturizing as it absorbs into your lips, giving a slight velvet finish. It becomes powdery soft - it has that 'matte but moisturized' feel.

I regularly exfoliate my lips, and some lipsticks tend to emphasize flaky skin, but this one barely shows any dead skin cells!

✅ Staining power:
This was the most important factor for me - it's why I bought this product. I hate having to constantly touch up after eating or drinking coffee. You know that annoying ring around your lips when the center wears off? (So frustrating, right?)

Oh wow, I checked the mirror after eating, and it hadn't worn off! By the afternoon, it seemed to fade a bit, so I reapplied once. It definitely has better staying power than regular lipsticks. When I tested it on the back of my hand, it stained immediately!

It came off easily with cleansing tissues and cleansing water. On nights when I was a bit careless after drinking, some color remained.

I already own three Water-full Butters, but the formula is so incredible that I bought another one. Even though it's a matte lip product, it's not drying at all, and the color longevity is top-notch!

Tony Moly's Get It Tint Waterful Butter is a matte product, but don't let that fool you! As the name 'Waterful' suggests, it's incredibly hydrating and doesn't leave your lips feeling dry at all. The 'Cool Rosy' shade has a bit more saturation than 'Berry Choux', but when you see them side by side, they're so similar you might think they're the same color with just a difference in intensity. It glides on so smoothly, and the color is absolutely gorgeous - there's really no reason not to buy it!

Unfortunately, on my lips, the color appeared somewhat dull, especially for those with lighter skin tones. It seems to have a slightly higher saturation than expected. Also, the pigmentation wasn't as strong as I'd hoped, requiring multiple applications for full coverage.

My skin tone falls in the 17-19 range with light to deep undertones. Here's my take on this product:
