I've tried using it with a beauty blender and a flat foundation brush, but it applies a bit thick, so I recommend using the dedicated puff that comes with it.

I chose the vanilla shade because it was said not to have a grayish tint, and even though it's a bit lighter, my makeup stays bright throughout the day. The coverage is the best I've experienced among hydrating products I've used. I'm switching from Yves Saint Laurent's Black Cushion to this. It's also much more affordable and great quality.

If you layer on plenty of hydration in your skincare routine before applying, this cushion won't pill at all!

Don't expect the dramatic pore-covering effect shown in the ads. It doesn't conceal pores as dramatically as advertised.

The best thing about this cushion is that it sets quickly, so you don't need to touch up often! As a semi-matte cushion, it's perfect for those with oily or combination dehydrated skin! Ever since I started using this cushion, I feel like I'm always getting compliments on how good my skin looks.

Because it adheres so well to the skin and doesn't smudge easily with water, you need to be thorough with cleansing. However, the advantages far outweigh this minor drawback.

I've been using this semi-matte compact powder regularly. It's truly a perfect match, and I'm so satisfied that I've settled on this cushion foundation. I'm really pleased that it doesn't get shiny or smudge when I sweat.
