  Pros

  The brightening effect is beautifully delivered to the skin! Hanyul's unique brightening ingredients adhere perfectly to the complexion. I've always felt my skin tone was dull, but since using this, I've noticed a visible improvement in my complexion. I'm on my Nth bottle and strongly recommend it to anyone with uneven skin tone, especially around the eyes!

  Cons

  As my holy grail product, I honestly can't find any faults... However, the amount feels slightly small compared to the price. Still, the brightening effect is so exceptional that I'm willing to overlook this and keep it stocked up.

  Tip

  Since dark circles under my eyes are my main concern, I leave it on that area for about 5 minutes! Then I apply it to my forehead and nose for another 5 minutes. Finally, I use it all over my face to remove dead skin cells. This way, you can use it efficiently and effectively.

  • The scent is lovely • They adhere perfectly around the eyes without lifting or causing wrinkles • The packaging is absolutely gorgeous • I used about 5 patches at once - under both eyes, on my chin, nose, and forehead. I could definitely notice my complexion looked brighter

  Cons

  • As shown in the attached photo, the pads aren't neatly arranged - they're overlapping and folded, which is frustrating even with the included tweezers • Having only used all-in-one lid designs before, I found it a bit awkward to open, though closing is fine • The quantity seems a bit low compared to the price and packaging • The pads are very slippery, making them inconvenient to use for wiping

  In the morning, I used it as an exfoliating toner (though it can be slippery and inconvenient). In the evening, I applied it like a mask for about 10 minutes on my under-eye area, nose, forehead, and chin.

  I've been wanting to try this product! It's thin yet moisturizing and adheres well to the skin. The scent is pleasant too. While it doesn't provide spectacular results instantly, with consistent use, it seems like it could help improve dark circles and complexion. After cleansing in the evening, I apply it under my eyes for about 15 minutes, and the next morning my skin feels brighter.

  Cons

  The patches are so thin that it's challenging to take them out one by one. You'll need to develop a special technique to grab them individually.

  Pros

  The patches were nicely moisturizing and easy to apply. Their unique shape with one side indented made them versatile, perfect for areas like the nose. I've been dealing with breakouts and picking marks on my cheeks lately, leaving quite a few blemishes. After using these for a few days, I noticed my skin tone became more even and the spots seemed to diminish. The included spatula and tweezers are great for hygienic application. While the inner cap is a bit tight and tricky to open, it does ensure cleanliness. The scent is slightly sweet, fitting for the yuzu ingredient. There's still plenty of essence left, though I haven't used them all yet.

  Cons

  One downside was that while these patches are meant for under-eye use, I found my eyes started to sting a bit after prolonged application. It was somewhat uncomfortable. Also, since these are designed to target blemishes, they can be a bit harsh on the skin. I wouldn't recommend using them too frequently as it might be too intense for your skin.

  The Hanyul Moonlight Yuzu Vita Tone-Up Apple Zone Pads are incredibly thin and adhere well, making them perfect for use under the eyes! They stick so seamlessly it's like you're barely wearing them. Even after keeping them on for a while, they don't dry out, leaving your skin moisturized and supple - which I absolutely love. It even seems to give your complexion a slight brightening effect!

  Cons

  Since the pads are so thin, they're a bit jumbled up in the container. You'll definitely need to use the included tweezers to carefully separate and apply each pad. That's probably why they've included a separate lid and tweezers. Other than that, I didn't notice any drawbacks.

  The pleasant yuzu scent makes you want to keep sniffing while it's on. It's super thin, so it doesn't bother you or fall off your face while wearing it - you can move around and go about your business with it on. After removing, your complexion looks brighter. No blemishes appeared afterwards.

  Cons

  While it's nice that the essence pad is moisturizing, I have a lot of age spots and freckles, so I'm not sure if I noticed much fading of dark spots.

  Tip

  Try this: apply your skincare, put on the pad for about 10 minutes, then apply eye serum - it makes the eye area look brighter! It's great to use when you want to cool and refresh the eye area.

  Here's my review after using the product as one of The Hwahae Testers: The best thing: The pads are thin, allowing for excellent adherence to the skin. Because they adhere so well, you can comfortably go about your other tasks while wearing them. I also appreciated that there was no sticky residue after use. Scent: A subtle yuzu fragrance (which I personally enjoyed) Regarding complexion: There was an immediate brightening effect after using the pads. However, since this review is based on about two weeks of use after being selected as a tester, I'd need to use it longer to determine if it has a long-term effect on evening out skin tone.

  When the delivery arrived and I opened the package, the pads were in disarray. This is an area that could use improvement. The photo shows how the pads looked when I first opened the package upon delivery.

  Since the pads are thin, you'll need to use the provided tweezers to easily handle them.

  As someone who really dislikes yuzu, I was pleased that the yuzu scent was subtle. This means even those who aren't fans of yuzu can use it comfortably. While not dramatically, it noticeably lightened my dark circles! Rather than just brightening my complexion, it seemed to fade blemishes and dark spots, giving my skin a more refined look. It also felt less oily, so I think even those with oily skin could use it. The pads are thin, making them easy to wear while going about your day. Plus, there's plenty of essence, and the outer packaging is so pretty, which I loved!

  Cons

  The downside was that the pads have a slippery texture, so they don't exfoliate dead skin cells. Also, I'm not sure if it was a shipping issue or just mine, but the pads were all stuck together. Being thin, they were difficult to pick up, which was a drawback.

  - The gel-type formula is gentle and adheres well to the skin! I used it successfully both as a pad pack and as an exfoliating toner. - The cooling effect when applying was fantastic, and it becomes transparent after a while! After using it for about a week, I woke up each morning with hydrated skin, and it seemed to improve my blemishes and complexion :) - The fresh scent is likely to be universally appealing, and the built-in tongs make it hygienic and easy to use.

  The price is quite steep compared to the number of pads. I'll have to wait for a sale to purchase it again!
