The scent wasn't overpowering either. I loved spraying it before blow-drying, then finishing with a touch of oil on the ends after my hair dried. It kept my locks from looking dry and frizzy.
ConsI haven't found anything disappointing about the ingredients yet. The spray format is convenient, but the pressure might be a bit strong for some...

When I sprayed it lightly on my hair after washing, while it was still a bit damp, it made my hair look so much neater! Many people say the scent is strong, but for me, it reminded me of the scented paper I used as a child - that nostalgic fragrance made me so happy!
ConsUm... when I first received it, it was wrapped in bubble wrap, but when I opened it incorrectly, the handle came off. I wish it had been made a bit more sturdy...

But after getting a perm recently, my hair felt too dry, so I decided to try this product. I loved that it could be used on both wet and dry hair, but the best part was that I could use it without getting my hands messy! It didn't leave that oily slickness on my hair like some products do, and there was no stiffening effect over time. It felt more like spraying a hydrating mist? While it's not a curl cream or oil, so it won't dramatically enhance your perm or tame frizz, for someone like me who's sensitive to heavy products, this is quite satisfactory!
ConsI was worried about the spray getting on my face during application. To avoid this, I gathered my hair back and sprayed it up close.
TipThe fragrance seemed to last longer when applied to damp hair.

This is my first time using a spray-on treatment, and I love how convenient it is compared to essences you have to squeeze out! I've noticed a significant difference in my hair texture while using this product. Before, I used to apply oil essences, but my hair would still get frizzy as if I hadn't applied anything. However, this product seems to keep my hair shiny and tame all day long! (Not greasy, just looks healthy) It doesn't make my hair greasy even if I apply a lot! The scent lasts incredibly long too! I spray it on before work in the morning, and even after I get home in the evening, people say my hair smells great!
ConsThe fragrance is quite strong... It's a floral scent, but at first, it was so intense that I wondered if I could keep using it. Still, I persevered because of how it smoothed my hair. As I continued using it, I got used to the scent, but it's still a bit disappointing. It's not an off-putting fragrance! It's just that the initial scent is so strong that those sensitive to smells might get a bit of a headache. Nevertheless, the product works so well that I'll probably keep using it!
TipYou can just spray it on freely! It doesn't make your hair greasy, and it seems to have made my hair much healthier! Great product!

As soon as you catch a whiff, you think 'Ah, that's the purple scent!' Moisture: Usually when I dry my hair, it gets tangled, and once it's fully dry, it becomes a frizzy mess. I often get frustrated looking at my hair. But with this, I spray it on generously before drying, and my hair dries so smoothly. I absolutely love it! Practicality: Since it's a spray-on treatment, it might splash onto your neck or face, but I didn't experience any blemishes from that. It's more convenient to use than products you have to squeeze out. Hair texture: I can't believe how easily the comb glides through my hair now! Nourishment: To be honest, I didn't notice any dramatic changes, but I've only been using it for a week.
ConsIf you're not careful when spraying, you might get some on your face or neck. You need to gather your hair well when applying. That's all!
TipIt works great when you spray it on before drying your hair!

I think the biggest advantage is being able to spray on this treatment. With the chilly weather lately, it's been so easy to nourish my dry and brittle hair, which I really appreciate.
ConsSince my hair is quite dry, I tend to spray it multiple times. However, the more I apply, the more I notice it can make my hair feel a bit heavy or sticky.

Based on this, the product had clear pros and cons when used. Pros: 1. Especially when blow-drying, spraying it and then drying makes the hair less frizzy. - As someone with dry hair like me, you'll know that after blow-drying, the hair often feels fluffy. But I didn't want to use hair oil as it felt too rich and I didn't like getting it on my hands. This product's biggest advantage was that I could simply spray it on my hair and brush it through, making it quite convenient. 2. Good portability. - Another point praised by others is that you can turn it on/off by pressing a button. The container size also seemed suitable for carrying in a travel bag.
ConsCons: 1. The scent is quite strong. - Personally, I only noticed a sweet floral scent when I first sprayed it, and it dissipated quickly as I dried my hair. But for those very sensitive to fragrances, the initial scent might be too overpowering. 2. It doesn't work well on severely damaged hair. My hair is quite damaged from continuous perming, especially at the ends. While the upper parts felt calmer and smoother when I applied it, the damaged lower parts still felt frizzy. So it may not be the best recommendation for those with heavily damaged hair. Additionally, when I sprayed it after fully drying my hair, there was a slight clumping sensation. Using it as a finishing touch after drying wasn't entirely satisfactory.
TipI'd recommend using it on damp hair rather than fully dried hair.

The fragrance might be hit or miss for some, but I personally loved it. My hair is severely damaged - even hairstylists have given up on it. After drying, it usually gets extremely frizzy and causes me no end of stress. But after drying and applying essence, when I sprayed this on the frizzy parts, it really calmed down! It wasn't too oily, just the right balance.
ConsThere wasn't really anything I disliked. The scent is nice, but the initial fragrance is a bit strong. That's slightly disappointing, but since I liked the overall scent, it wasn't a major issue for me.
TipAfter towel-drying, lightly spray it all over, then dry your hair. Apply essence, and after about 10 minutes, spray it on any areas that start to frizz up - it'll calm right down. That's just for my extremely damaged hair though. If you have normal hair, you can probably just spray it after towel-drying and then dry your hair. For those with frizzy hair like mine, try spraying again after fully drying - it should settle down. I also scrunch it a bit to help absorption. I've uploaded photos of my frizzy hair and right after spraying for reference!

When I use this product, it instantly fills my hair with hydration, making it feel soft and smooth. However, the effect doesn't last long, so it's best to reapply frequently. I've only tried it on damp hair, and while it does make combing a bit easier for my usually unmanageable locks, the results aren't dramatic. One thing I really appreciate is the well-designed on/off button, which is quite convenient to use.
ConsConsidering the volume and effectiveness, the price feels a bit steep. The fragrance is also too artificial for my liking. It reminds me somewhat of dog shampoo, if you know what I mean...

This product definitely stands out with its clear advantages! 1. Tames frizz effectively My hair is frizzy, wavy, thick, and prone to cowlicks. If not dried properly, it can become extremely curly (like in the first image) with unintentional waves at the bottom (not in a pretty way). However, when I use this product, those curls disappear, and my hair straightens out, resulting in a smooth and soft texture. 2. Comfortable application Among spray-on types, there are light water-based ones and relatively heavier essence-like formulas. This product strikes the perfect balance in consistency. It might feel watery at first, but as you dry and brush your hair, you'll notice it has a slightly richer feel, living up to its 'ampoule' name. Water-based products often require using more, while heavier ones can make hair greasy. This one is just right - you can even apply it hastily without worrying.
Cons1. The scent isn't to my liking It has a floral scent...? It's a bit mysterious, and I can't quite put my finger on it. I tried to keep smelling it to figure it out, but I still couldn't. Personally, I don't hate it, but I can't say I like it either. 2. Weak spray nozzle For someone like me who needs to tame excessive frizziness, I need to spray the essence all over my hair to calm it down. With a strong spray, a couple of spritzes would do the job, but this product comes out weakly in small bursts, covering a narrow area. You need to spray multiple times to cover your whole head. I was worried about using too much and making my hair greasy, but thanks to the formula I mentioned earlier, it doesn't immediately weigh down the hair! Also, I wish the spray power was stronger when applying it to the hair in general.
TipThis is in my top 2 holy grails for frizzy hair. I would definitely repurchase it with my own money! (The other one is Silk Infusion XP Hair Mist from Silk Therapy. Their leave-in treatment was below expectations, but this J.SOOP product is just as effective as the Silk Therapy one.)
