The pad shape is especially great for using as an under-eye mask! Scent: No particular fragrance, so it's likely to suit everyone's preferences. Hydration: When used as a mask, it provides deep hydration that seems to effectively combat deep dryness! Overall: On days I use this product as a mask, my makeup seems to apply better, so I'll definitely keep using it! Some products can leave a sticky feeling after masking, but this one finishes fresh while still providing ample hydration. The adhesion is so good that it stays put even while blow-drying my hair.
ConsThe pads are thin, making them sometimes difficult to separate even when using tweezers. While the volume is generous, the price feels a bit... on the higher side.
TipTry storing the product in the fridge and using it after a shower - it quickly calms redness!

They're the softest toner pads I've ever used. This makes them less irritating when exfoliating. You know how they say to gently wipe when using an exfoliating toner? I've found that even with double-sided pads, the rough side can be irritating. So I usually stick to the soft side for exfoliating. With these, both sides are gentle, which is great. - Size and shape: They're perfect for placing on the cheeks. A bit awkward for the forehead due to their size. Since my cheeks tend to be dry, I exfoliated my whole face and then placed the pads on my cheeks. ✓ Effective ingredients, non-irritating I love the high content of hot spring water and sulfur. And it didn't irritate my skin at all! ✓ No artificial fragrances There are no artificial fragrances. You'll notice a strong sulfur smell when you open the product. I'm not a fan of artificial scents in skincare, both for sensory and ingredient reasons. I'm usually pretty tolerant of natural skincare scents, but the sulfur smell was new to me. Still, I'd choose this natural scent over a product that uses artificial fragrances to mask it. ✓ Tweezers that can be stored in the lid I've never used the tweezers that come with pads before because storing them was a hassle. But with a designated spot in the lid, it's so convenient!
ConsSometimes it's hard to pick up just one pad with the tweezers because they're so thin. I think it would be easier if the edges weren't so blunt.
TipWhen placing the tweezers in their spot, make sure to align the ends perfectly. If you don't, they'll fall out when you close the lid. You'll smell the sulfur when you first open the product or bring it close to your face, but when you're exfoliating or doing a toner mask, a different scent emerges. If the initial scent is off-putting, just wait a few seconds. It becomes quite pleasant!

The description mentioned it might have the unique scent of hot spring water, which made me think, 'Ah, so this is what hot spring water smells like.' It might be a bit divisive for some. As someone with sensitive skin, I'm usually wary of artificial fragrances, but I was relieved to use this since it doesn't contain any! ▪️Packaging: The container itself is large and sturdy. However, when I took it on a trip, it leaked through the gaps - that's on me though! Just keep in mind it might spill if tilted. The lid comes with an attached clip, which I found really convenient and hygienic. ▪️Contents/Volume: Even the gentlest pads can irritate if not sufficiently soaked in toner, but these are nicely saturated even after one use. The pads are large and heart-shaped, making them easy to apply to facial contours, and they're thin for good adherence. With 105 pads, it's a more generous amount compared to other brands' toner pads, which I appreciated. ▪️Hydration and Feel: I have skin prone to dead skin cells, so I always use toner pads after cleansing to smooth them out. Interestingly, rather than just hydrating the dead skin cells, these seemed to actually calm them down. After using them, I'm not sure if it was just my imagination, but my skin texture felt noticeably smoother.
Cons😢 As mentioned earlier, while the 105-pad volume is generous, it also feels proportional to the price, which seems a bit steep for a daily-use item. 😥 This is the most disappointing part - many reviews mentioned an inner seal, but mine didn't have one. Even more disappointing was finding what looked like an eyelash-length hair stuck to the inside of the lid when I first opened it. Perhaps due to the missing seal, there was some dust-like residue on the first pad... Apart from that, there were no issues, and I was happy to use it as part of The Hwahae Testers program. But after seeing other reviews, I can't help feeling a bit uneasy about it.

The hot spring water seems to give it a natural scent, not artificial at all, so it's really pleasant to use. I highly recommend these pads for smoothing skin texture and providing hydration right after cleansing!
ConsI've tried many toner pads, but this one has the same drawback as others. As you open and close the case during use, it seems like the amount of toner gradually decreases. I wish it came with a more generous amount for longer-term use.
TipWhen your face feels hot or irritated, just place these toner pads on for about 5 minutes and it calms down nicely. I found that using them chilled works great too!

Absolutely top-notch! ✏️ Quantity First off, I love that it comes with a generous 105 pads. It's great to use them without feeling like you're running out, and I'm so satisfied with how high the stack of pads is! ✏️ Scent The fragrance might be a bit divisive, but I'm a fan. It's hard to describe exactly, but it's something you get used to over time. Though I can see how some people might not like it... ✏️ Texture The pads felt like pure cotton - thin, yet stretchy and pliable. They have a lovely soft feel to them. ✏️ Formula It worked really well for my dry skin. The formula is gentle, adheres nicely to the skin, and provides lasting hydration without evaporating quickly. I never experienced any blemishes while using it - it was great!
ConsIf I had to nitpick, the pads are quite thin, making them difficult to pick up with the included tongs. After a few tries, I just ended up using my fingers to carefully pick them up... Other than that and the potentially divisive scent I mentioned earlier, I have no complaints!
TipI recommend using it as a 5-minute toner mask

Hygiene I love that it comes with built-in tweezers, so you don't have to touch the contents with your hands. This keeps it clean and usable right to the end! 2. Scent While not completely fragrance-free, the scent isn't overpowering for me, which I'm satisfied with. 3. Essence Amount / Hydration The pads are generously soaked in essence, which is very satisfying and provides a noticeable boost in hydration. This makes them perfect for using as a quick face mask before blow-drying your hair, preventing that tight feeling caused by the heat. Your skin stays moisturized even after you're done drying! They're also great as a pre-makeup hydration step. The formula feels more hydrating than oily, making it comfortable to use. 4. Pad Shape and Adherence The contoured shape of the pads makes them fantastic for applying to the under-eye and cheek areas. I've found them easier to adjust on the mouth area and forehead compared to round pads. Plus, they're super thin, so the edges stick perfectly without lifting - I'm very pleased with this!
Cons1. Pad Wrinkling I've never seen pads this wrinkled before among all the ones I've tried. It made separating them with the tweezers a bit challenging. 2. Foreign Objects In the pack I received, there were tiny specks that could have been either very small insects or dust - it was hard to tell. I had to discard several pads because of this. It was quite shocking to find foreign objects in a cosmetic product, as I've never experienced this before.

Although the product description mentioned a unique hot spring water scent, I found it almost fragrance-free! For those with a less sensitive nose like me, there's just a subtle hint of aroma. 2. The sheet is soft and generously soaked in essence, making it perfect for a gentle mask application without any irritation! 3. The sheet is thin and adheres well, so you don't need to tear it in half. It's great for masking! 4. The pad shape fits nicely on contoured areas like cheeks and forehead without lifting. This shape also provides a good grip when using it as an exfoliating toner. 5. The hydration and moisturizing effects are fantastic! You can really feel that special hot spring water moisturizing power. It's also great for cooling down skin and soothing irritation. 6. The snap-close lid is super convenient to use. You know how twist caps can be tricky when your hands are slippery, right? This might be its best feature, honestly!
ConsWhen it arrived, the box was almost soaked through from leakage. Upon opening, I found the inner seal was half peeled off. I've attached a photo... The packaging condition was somewhat disappointing. But despite the leakage, there was still tons of essence inside! It's a shame it wasn't packaged properly, it would have been perfect otherwise. Also, more of a characteristic than a drawback: if you want to tear the pad, you need to do it along the grain. It won't tear in any other direction!
TipIf you're tired of buying sheet masks and exfoliating toners separately, this product does it all in one!
