I loved that it wasn't too oily and didn't feel sticky! The ingredients were also appealing. While it's a bit disappointing that it contains phenoxyethanol, the overall ingredient list is quite impressive compared to other curling essences!!! It doesn't make my hair feel heavy, which is great! This product was perfect for me as I was looking for something lightweight. There is a scent, but it's not headache-inducing - more like a subtle salon fragrance. It didn't bother me at all! Those looking for strong curl hold might be a bit disappointed... While it does help maintain curls to some extent, it's not the type that provides a strong hold! You can get it a bit cheaper with a treatment sample when it's on sale at Olive Young!! It works great when applied only to the lower part of your hair after drying the roots - no pilling and feels good!
