Oh... the smell is really too strong. It's like someone spit in it. Ugh. Or maybe it's just a rotten, fecal odor? This is the first time I've ever wished for a mask's time to be over so quickly. The Facial Treatment Essence had the same smell, even though I stored it properly like all my other cosmetics, so I think it's just how the product is. => Or maybe it was just the essence smell? I'm confused...

The sheet doesn't adhere well. It's not thin, soft, and clinging, but rather stiff and rigid, so it doesn't stick closely to the face.

When I applied Facial Treatment Clear Emulsion - Facial Treatment Essence - Facial Treatment Mask - GenOptics Aura Essence, it was like someone melted paper on my face and let it harden. The more I rubbed my skin, the more it pilled. I wonder if there's an incompatible combination within SK-II products, or if it's an issue with the essence. Considering the Fukushima issue, I'm not sure there's a reason to consume Japanese products. The quality was so low that I can't believe a 20,000 won mask pack was on my face. There are plenty of Korean masks with good ingredients that are even cheaper. There's no reason to buy SK-II...

*Review written the next day: The cause of the pilling was the mask! There were thread-like traces on the scissors I used to cut the mask.

The formula itself provides continuous hydration to the face. However, due to the stiff sheet material, it doesn't adhere as well as other sheet masks, which is a bit disappointing. There's no immediate irritation, but the smell... As for blemishes, I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to see.
