ConsIf you skip your skincare routine entirely and only apply this sunscreen, it feels tight on the skin. While it's fine on the cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin, it can cause cracking around the mouth area!

I realized after trying a supposedly gentle organic sunscreen that sensitive, combination dehydrated, acne-prone skin needs mineral sunscreen. It evens skin tone naturally, though not as much as a foundation-free brightening moisturizer. I like its ivory tint. It doesn't make my skin super dry, so it's easy to use. I've been a sunscreen nomad due to breakouts, but I'll likely repurchase when I finish this one.
ConsNothing! If you apply it over a solid skincare routine, you won't really notice the dryness typical of mineral sunscreens.

After realizing my skin couldn't handle chemical or hybrid sunscreens, I stuck with Dr. G Green for ages. As I got older and my skin became drier, I switched to Dalba. But now that I'm even older, I can't be bothered with a full makeup routine anymore! So I went looking for something with a slight brightening effect, ready to toss it if it didn't work out. But this has become my holy grail! It's not too drying, not too rich, gives just the right amount of brightening, and works perfectly as a no-foundation base. I absolutely love it for a makeup-free look!
ConsThere's nothing bad to say about this product! Oh, except for the fact that I left it at my parents' house to use when I visit, and my mother used it all up!
TipFor those of you who want to go foundation-free but can only use mineral sunscreens, and are frustrated that all the brightening moisturizers out there are hybrid formulas - this is your saving grace, I swear!

As a mineral sunscreen, it's gentle enough for blemish-prone skin and caused zero irritation. While it does have that typical mineral sunscreen white cast, it gives such a beautiful ivory tone that I didn't need any other products - this was enough on its own! There's barely any rich feeling, so it finishes clean without any stickiness, and it absorbs beautifully. Unlike typical mineral sunscreens that can be hard to spread or feel drying, this one is so moisturizing that you'd never guess it's a mineral formula! Key points: - Gentle mineral sunscreen, perfect for sensitive skin with no irritation - White cast gives a natural brightening effect - Almost no oily residue, finishes clean without stickiness - Absorbs well with a moisturizing feel 'A mineral sunscreen that's uniquely moisturizing with a pretty ivory tone-up effect'
ConsThere's nothing bad to say! If I had to nitpick, maybe the price? It's a bit expensive, but I'll definitely keep using it.

However, after receiving a recommendation for this product, I bought it with some skepticism. To my surprise, I'm absolutely thrilled with it! It doesn't cause any deep dryness or eye irritation, and it even provides a natural brightening effect. I'm extremely satisfied, and it's become my holy grail!
ConsI'm so satisfied that there's really nothing to complain about. If I had to pick one minor issue, there's a slight rich feeling that develops, but I'm still very happy with it.

The texture is between a lotion and a BB cream. It doesn't dry out the skin, leaving it feeling comfortable. It has a radiant finish that quickly becomes refreshing. It has a lovely, natural pearlescent white appearance. The subtle fragrance is likely not objectionable. It's not irritating, so even sensitive skin with acne can use it. The good ingredients seem to be the biggest advantage.
ConsDue to the nature of sunscreen, the whitening power is relatively weak, and the whitening effect fades quickly. There are quite a few cases where it is not absorbed and leaves a white cast, so it should not be applied carelessly.
TipWhen applying, rub it in thoroughly so it doesn't peel off. Be attentive. For dry skin, I recommend organic sunscreen rather than mineral sunscreen.

Absorbs well with an emulsion texture. Not too white and provides slight brightening. Doesn't feel heavy or suffocating. Gentle and doesn't cause blemishes. Hydrating without tightness. Might be a bit shiny in summer.
ConsFeels a bit thin, so you might think you're not using enough. But that also means you can generously apply the recommended amount.

While it does have a slight white cast, it blends seamlessly with your complexion, naturally evening out your skin tone. A unique advantage of this sunscreen is that it's incredibly hydrating for a mineral formula. It's perfect for sensitive skin on dry days.
ConsThe hydrating quality might actually be a downside for some. On hot days, it can make your skin look overly shiny as time passes.

It's a moisturizing formula that works wonders for combination dehydrated skin. It brightens the complexion well without leaving any oily residue. There's no drying or cracking effect either. As someone with nothing but redness to cover, it evens out my skin tone beautifully, giving me that 'no-makeup makeup' look - like my bare skin, but better. I'll definitely repurchase when it's on sale.
ConsI experienced a slight irritation. While it didn't cause any breakouts or blemishes, I can't say it feels as gentle as the Dtj mineral sunscreen, which I find incredibly mild. This one doesn't give me that 'wow, this is so comfortable and gentle' feeling. It's not the complete opposite, but it's as if I'm sensing the absence of Dtj's gentleness. My mom, who has dry skin, wasn't a fan and won't use it again. She says she'd prefer something else even with her dry skin. There's definitely something about the feel of it that's not quite right.

My face is generally dry, but my T-zone (nose and forehead) produces excess oil, making me have combination dehydrated skin! Given how sensitive my skin is, I've only ever used mineral sunscreens, not even daring to dream about chemical ones. The Atté mineral sunscreen has an incredibly good absorption. Unlike most mineral sunscreens that contain both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, this one only has zinc oxide. Without titanium, it naturally spreads more smoothly, and it even contains a small amount of hyaluronic acid, giving it an essence-like texture that glides on effortlessly! In terms of application, it's probably the best I've ever used. Despite being a sunscreen, looking at the ingredient list, you'd think it was just a moisturizer with its variety of soothing, antioxidant, and even anti-wrinkle ingredients. I'd highly recommend this for those with dry or very dry skin!
Cons1. Those with oily skin might find the finish a bit heavy or greasy. 2. Without titanium, it's less durable and can be easily removed by water or friction, so I'd only use it on days when I can easily reapply, like when I'm just wearing sunscreen. 3. The ingredient list is quite extensive, which makes me wonder if all these beneficial ingredients can really be effective in a mineral sunscreen. Also, for those with extremely sensitive skin, the multitude of ingredients might actually increase the risk of irritation.
