This cream has a rich, substantial texture. When applied in the evening and washed off in the morning, you can feel a sort of moisture barrier. It seems to act like a coating that prevents hydration from evaporating. The finish is deeply moisturizing, heavier than a typical hydrating cream. It's perfect for winter use. The scent is reminiscent of green juice, but it's almost fragrance-free. After checking the ingredients on Hwahae, it appears to be a cream that lives up to its vegan claims, though it does contain some potentially concerning components. Using this in the height of summer would lead to an oil overload. It can feel a bit heavy on the skin. I mainly use it at night because I suspect it might not layer well under sunscreen. The texture is quite thick and rich, which might make you think it's greasy, but surprisingly, it doesn't feel oily at all - I love that! Highly recommended for oily and blemish-prone skin types. It absorbs quickly without feeling sticky, leaving your skin feeling soft and fresh! Even better when used together with toner and serum. Not recommended for dry skin! It absorbs so quickly that those with dry skin might feel parched in the morning. The cream comes in a generous amount. Compared to other creams, it has fewer ingredients, which makes it less burdensome on the skin. While it's not exceptionally great, so I might use it once or twice and then set it aside, it's still decent for applying a thin layer when your skin is feeling a bit sensitive. It feels quite heavy, yet the hydration seems to evaporate quickly... I can't shake off the oily sensation. While it applies smoothly at first, the finish feels heavy, and despite this, there's a lack of moisture. I really liked how clean it felt due to the minimal ingredients. It didn't cause any blemishes, and the scent is almost undetectable. I absolutely love it! The jar packaging is a bit concerning for hygiene reasons... I have extremely oily skin! Before buying, reviews mentioned it was very rich and had a balm-like texture, but I've never felt greasy while using it! It does have a slightly thick consistency, but it's not oily at all. I also love that it comes in a generous amount. It's gentle, so I'm applying it comfortably! When I had severe acne, I saw great results with Houttuynia Cordata. As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts badly to the slightest provocation, I can confidently say this product is genuinely gentle and amazing. The size is also incredibly generous! I honestly can't think of any downsides! I just hope they never discontinue this product...
