  It's great for dry skin and has a nice texture. It also does a good job of evening out skin tone.

  Cons

  Pros

  Great to apply before foundation. It also provides a nice, natural brightening effect.

  Cons

  It looks pretty when applied and seems good overall, but it might not suit my skin. Every time I use it, I get small bumps or blemishes on my face. They appear the very next day after application, so this sunscreen has ended up unused despite purchasing it.

  Using this alone causes an enormous outbreak of tiny blemishes. I absolutely wouldn't apply it to my face

  I discovered this product while browsing popular items on Hwahae. I decided to buy it for fall and winter, wanting something more hydrating after using different textures in summer. What I loved most was how incredibly moisturizing it felt when applied. The way it naturally evened out my skin tone was also great, so I've been using it happily. I've gone through 4 bottles and am on my 5th now...

  Cons

  I was using it well until today (December 23, 2024) when I suddenly noticed my face felt really tingly after application. It happened in the morning, but I was in a rush to get ready so I couldn't remove it and just applied cushion foundation over it. Even now at night, my face still feels a bit numb. I did change my skincare routine slightly, only adding a richer cream. I'm a bit shocked... I can't remember if I've felt this before. If it works well for you, keep using it, but if you have sensitive skin, well, it might be best to avoid it.

  The brightening effect was beautiful. The texture is incredibly smooth, making it easy to apply evenly. You can even moisturize areas like the neck effortlessly!

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it was an allergic reaction or what, but as soon as I applied it, my face felt intensely hot. The next day, my skin completely broke out. I really liked it, but unfortunately, it doesn't agree with my skin. Such a shame!

  It naturally brightens the skin. Seems good enough to use on its own.

  Cons

  It's quite rich and when used as a base for makeup, it causes pilling and makes the makeup look patchy. Also, possibly due to its richness, I got some blemishes after using this...

  Tip

  I've tried both this and Goodal's Houttuynia Cordata Calming Moisture Sun Cream, and the latter works better as a makeup base!

  This sunscreen provides excellent brightening and hydration. The scent is reminiscent of houttuynia cordata, true to its name, suggesting it contains a significant amount of this ingredient. As someone with oily skin, I find it leaves a rich feel. It might be more suitable for those with dry skin rather than oily complexions.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it's due to excessive richness or an issue with my skin, but within two hours of application, my entire face becomes oily and the brightening effect disappears. As time passes, it either fades away or causes some kind of darkening. Every time I use this product alone, I develop blemishes - both whiteheads and pustules appear. It seems my skin doesn't agree with this formula.

  Tip

  If you experience breakouts on your face, try applying it to your neck instead. That's how I use it now - I only apply it to my neck. It brightens the skin tone and provides a nice moisturizing effect there.

  I thought it might be too oily for my combination skin, but it would be great for dry skin types. The way it absorbs is quite nice.

  As expected, organic sunscreens just don't work for me. My face gets itchy, I break out in mosquito-bite-like bumps, and it feels way too rich.
