I wrote a review of the product I purchased in the middle of 2024 and have been using since then. While the photo shows a slightly orange-tinted warm pink, in reality it has a slightly bluish pink tone, so I recommend testing it out if you have a warm-toned complexion before purchasing. 1️⃣ As soon as I apply it, my skin looks dewy and radiant, with no visible wrinkles, and it applies smoothly and feels lightweight after application. 2️⃣ There is no sticky feeling, and the moisturizing effect lasts for over 4 hours. 3️⃣ There is almost no staining, so my lip color does not change even after cleansing. 4️⃣ The lipstick color is beautiful, regardless of whether you have a warm or cool skin tone. It is not a typical cheap-looking pink, but a unique pink shade. 5️⃣ The color payoff does not become deeper or muddier, and the original color is well-maintained.

1️⃣ Instead of being sticky, it has less adhesiveness, and when the upper and lower lips are rubbed together, there is a slight feeling of the product slipping. This makes me think it might be a product with more moisture than oil. 2️⃣ Now, almost a year after purchasing, the lipstick has a slightly unpleasant smell, so I don't think I'll be able to apply it well going forward. 3️⃣ Even after applying it to my lips, I could still faintly smell the unpleasant fragrance. It's common for domestic lipsticks to have this artificial scent over time, but I didn't expect Espoir to have this issue. 4️⃣ I had planned to buy a new color this time, but after trying the product again after a long time and experiencing the artificial fragrance, I gave up on purchasing the new color product. I'm not sure if this scent is due to the product being vegan and not containing harmful ingredients, but it was a fragrance I found difficult to continue smelling. 5️⃣ Since my face tends to be slightly yellow at night, this color made my yellow face even more noticeable. The slightly bluish pink would likely suit cool-toned skin better. 6️⃣ The case design might confuse first-time users on which direction to store the product.

If your face is as yellow as mine, but you really want to purchase this product, applying a warmer color over this product will result in a more beautiful and natural-looking color.

The formula is not too thick or heavily pigmented, so it blends well with bare skin. The slightly rosy pink shade gives a natural, lively look that works well with any makeup style. There is no stickiness, and the natural sheen is not overbearing. It applies smoothly without emphasizing flaky lips. It feels as soft and hydrating as lip balm, so even though I usually prefer tints, I find myself reaching for this product often. The formula builds up in coverage, so you can create a gradient effect easily. The packaging design is pretty, and the cap clicks shut firmly, preventing it from opening accidentally in your bag. The transfer is not as severe as expected - more of the sheen transfers than the actual color.

The feeling is not that it clings tightly to the lips, so the lasting power is not very good. I always have to reapply it after meals. The formula is soft, so it wears down quickly. If you apply it too short, it can become mushy and get on the edges, so it's better to apply it slightly longer. If you apply it incorrectly, it can become slightly uneven. But the formula is moisturizing, so if you spread it with your fingertip or a silicone tip brush, the unevenness will disappear.
