I have sensitive combination skin leaning towards oily, and I occasionally experience allergies to natural oils and sunscreen ingredients. 1. Skin Regeneration I used this product along with a light moisturizer as a recovery cream after CO2 laser treatment. I started using it when most of the scabs had fallen off, and there was no irritation. While I can't say for certain it had a definite effect, as there was no redness or itching after the scabs fell off, my skin healed without scarring and felt comfortable due to the product's clear hydrating properties. 2. Skin Condition Improvement Although I applied this product to quickly heal skin wounds, the wounds healed on their own, so I'm not sure about that. However, my skin condition is at an all-time best. It's quite a rich product, so my skin is properly hydrated, and perhaps due to the EGF aiding regeneration, my slightly tanned complexion has improved. My skin feels firm and has a smooth glow... Once it's fully absorbed, only a thin layer of oil remains, resulting in truly honey-like skin. It's not just because of the oil though - there's a firmness and softness to the skin that I haven't felt with other more hydrating products. It really feels like touching a soft-boiled egg - moist and smooth. I originally only used Vitamin C and retinal serums for slow aging, but I'm considering replacing one of them with this EGF serum. 3. Affordable Price While it's 2-3 times more expensive than other ampoules from the same brand due to the EGF, it's incredibly cheap for an EGF ampoule. When on sale, it's about 30,000 won for 30ml - isn't that about the price of a regular ampoule? I think I'll buy it again once I've used up all my current ampoules.
Cons1. High Oil Content I'm usually quite tolerant of oil, to the point where I'll apply Vaseline or Nivea cream directly on my face in winter. This product is quite rich, so the website recommends mixing a few drops with other serums. However, for faster skin recovery, I applied it neat and ended up very satisfied with the results.
TipSeems great for boosting skin condition.
