Pros
I bought this serum because I liked that it uses bakuchiol instead of retinol, making it suitable for sensitive skin. Having never used retinol before, I was worried about irritation, so I opted for this bakuchiol serum. Despite being a functional serum, it's hydrating enough that I could move straight to the moisturizer step after applying it, which was great. Unlike retinol, I appreciated that I could use it both morning and night. With consistent use, I noticed a slight reduction in pore size, though the effect may be temporary.
Cons
It does have a chemical scent, so those sensitive to fragrances might want to keep that in mind. Also, since it's not a pharmaceutical product, don't expect dramatic results in terms of pore tightening.
Tip
I found that applying this serum, letting it absorb well, then following up with a light moisturizer created a perfect base for makeup. My skin felt firmer, making it ideal for makeup application.

Pros
Absorbs well: The application is smooth and moisturizing, just like a regular serum. Absorption: It absorbs nicely without any pilling, leaving the skin feeling hydrated. Effectiveness: I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but I feel like my pores have gotten smaller. Among all the functional cosmetics I've tried so far, I think this one is the most effective!
Cons
Scent: The fragrance was a bit disappointing. It had a strange smell that I've never encountered in cosmetics before... I think it would be much better if this aspect was improved! Personal experience: This might just be my personal experience, but was it due to my skin condition? After using it, my complexion seemed to darken... It must be due to my skin condition... right?

Pros
Texture: It has a fluid consistency like a typical serum and applies beautifully. Initially, it feels moisturizing, but the hydration doesn't last too long. I'd recommend pairing it with a hydrating serum for best results. Using it alone might feel a bit insufficient. Blemishes: I was initially concerned about trying bakuchiol, a new ingredient for me. Having sensitive skin, I made sure to use it when my skin was at its least reactive. Fortunately, it didn't cause any blemishes. Effectiveness: While I haven't noticed a significant reduction in pores yet, I believe consistent use will yield positive results.
Cons
There's an oddly cooling scent... It has a faint medicinal smell, like a mild pain relief patch, which makes me a bit uneasy. Although it doesn't cause blemishes, the subtle medicinal scent when applying makes me worry about potential irritation.

As expected from a Dr.G product, the overall design is clean and likely to appeal to most people. Hydration: - Being a serum, I expected a light, water-like texture, but it's actually a thin cream that flows slowly. This means it's more moisturizing than I anticipated. While it's not enough on its own for my very dry skin, those with oily skin might find it sufficient to use alone. Finish: - It has a non-sticky, fresh finish that should be perfect for the upcoming summer.
Cons
Irritation: - It stings a bit when applied to acne-prone areas. My acne has mostly cleared up now, so it's not an issue, but those with acne-prone skin might want to be cautious. Pros
40s / Dry skin, Super sensitive skin As I entered my 40s, my main concern was the uneven skin texture due to enlarged pores. After using the Dr.G Bakuchiol Pore-Ject Serum for over a week as part of The Hwahae Testers, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin's smoothness. Given my sensitive skin, I usually use retinol products sparingly, mixing them with a hydrating moisturizer. However, I found the Bakuchiol serum to be gentle enough for both day and night use without any discomfort. Fortunately, I could apply it directly from the start without experiencing any irritation. The serum's texture absorbs well and doesn't cause any pilling, making it perfect for use before applying makeup in the morning.
Cons
While it absorbs well, I was disappointed to feel the characteristic dryness often associated with functional skincare products. Having dry skin, I found that applying only the Bakuchiol serum after toner left my skin feeling too tight. I needed to follow up with a hydrating moisturizer to alleviate the dryness. Also, I wasn't too fond of the slight medicinal scent when applying the product.
Tip
If you have dry skin, make sure to apply a hydrating moisturizer after using the Dr.G Bakuchiol serum. Instead of using a cream with active ingredients, layering with a hydration-focused moisturizer will help you wake up to even smoother skin the next day.

Pros
I have oily skin and used this product daily for about a week. The best part was how well it absorbs and how quickly it sinks in, so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin! Since this is a pore serum, I paid close attention to changes in my pores. I noticed a visible reduction in the appearance of the large, deep pores on my nose.
Cons

Pros
I was nervous on the first day due to the low ratings, so I cautiously applied it to my inner forearm. No adverse reactions. From then on, I applied it to my T-zone, and there was an immediate pore-tightening effect. I'm not sure if it's due to the hydration or actual pore contraction, but despite warnings of strong irritation, I didn't experience much. I used it only three nights a week, and it has the lightest finish among all the pore essences I've tried. Considering that most people concerned about pores have oily skin, many previous pore essences felt somewhat heavy. This product absorbs lightly and leaves my skin feeling soft the next day. While I don't expect miracles from skincare for pores (even laser treatments struggle), this product contains niacinamide and bakuchiol, which are great for anti-aging and inflammation, even if not specifically for pores. I don't use any other essence, so I'll definitely purchase this with my own money.
Cons
There's a slight medicinal scent, which I prefer to artificial fragrances. It might be hit or miss for some. It stings if applied near the eyes, so avoid the eye area.
Tip
Start by applying it three nights a week. If that goes well, stick to evenings only. If you continue to see good results, you can try using it both morning and evening. It worked for me.
