First off, this cushion has great adherence and provides light coverage, making it comfortable for the skin. It's perfect for daily use! Although it's called a 'glow cushion', it actually has a semi-glow formula that beautifully enhances a subtle radiance. It also offers decent coverage. I applied it thinly and then layered it on areas that needed more coverage without it feeling heavy. It nicely accentuates skin texture and does a good job at covering pores. However, I did notice that this cushion felt a bit drying. So, it's important to apply rich skincare beforehand, otherwise you might experience some pilling. As time passed, there was slight creasing and oiliness around the nose area, but there was no darkening. It didn't break down in an unsightly way, so I just needed to blot away some oil and touch up a bit! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2024
The color makeup maestro BBIA has created a cushion? They've developed a semi-glowy cushion that enhances color payoff with a high-quality base - the foundation of color makeup. It's a Natural Glow Cushion that captures the purity of water. The package itself is a mirror, allowing you to check your face without opening the lid. The white and silver combination gives a clean, simple, and luxurious design. I used shade 21, which provides a moisturizing and comfortable hydrated glow. It adheres to the skin as lightly as water, feeling thin and weightless. The inherent color of the makeup comes through beautifully, creating an ivory base that makes your complexion look radiant and healthy. While it's not high coverage, it doesn't cake or darken, maintaining a pretty glow with good staying power. I recommend this for those who want to achieve a natural, healthy-looking complexion. While it doesn't offer high coverage, it does brighten the complexion effectively. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2024
- It emphasizes hydration, but not in a way that's too much for oily skin types. Unless you're looking for a completely matte product, it seems suitable even for oily skin. It's not a greasy kind of moisture, but more of a comfortable hydration. Overall, it feels like a mix between a foundation and a BB cream. - The color is a perfect ivory that truly embodies the word 'neutral'. It's beautiful without leaning too yellow or pink (doesn't have a strong yellow or pink base). It has that slight grayish tint characteristic of ivory. As mentioned, it has an ivory BB cream feel. If you apply a lot, make sure to blend well with your neck! - I felt the tone was just right for shade 21 because many 21 cushions come out too white. I sometimes use 22 or a lighter 23. But Oglow's 21 isn't overwhelming. When applied thinly, it doesn't look disconnected from the neck and naturally brightens while blending well with your original skin tone. - It's a semi-glow that creates a beautiful, thin skin-like finish. I liked that it applies thinly even with a puff without being thick. While matte products have good adherence, they can create pore-emphasizing bumps over time. This one maintains slight moisture to prevent that, so it has decent pore coverage, creates a pretty skin finish, and has good adherence. - It doesn't break down messily. Even in winter, my T-zone gets oily after wearing makeup. But after 5-6 hours of walking in cold places, staying in heated rooms, eating, and talking, it was fine without touch-ups. Even though facial oils must have mixed with the makeup, it didn't break down messily - just created a nice glow. (*Lightly blot with oil paper and touch up) - It's not that there's absolutely no darkening, nor does it become noticeably dull. As time passes, facial oils emerge, mix with makeup, and it breaks down and fades, so it naturally becomes darker than when first applied. For me, this product just becomes more natural and subdued over time - that's about it. Generally, moisturizing formulas darken more than matte ones. So when using moisturizing products, I expect that to some extent. - Coverage is 'medium'. When I need definite blemish coverage, I use concealer. But when I don't need to do a thorough makeup with concealer, this alone was fine. Even if blemishes aren't perfectly covered, the overall even tone makes skin look good. (*For reference, I don't have many pimples, but I have slight redness, visible pores, and some pigmentation). The eye area can get dry and has wrinkles, so if you don't touch up for a long time, the eye area and smile lines might show some lifting. Be sure to check in the mirror! + Adding this after using it for a while: The puff is super soft and fluffy, different from common cushion puffs. But I'm not sure if it's the best match for this cushion. If you keep patting, it seems to dry out and remove the pretty glow. I use a spatula to thinly fill in pores, then only pat a few times with the puff. The product already has good adherence, so overdoing it with the puff can be counterproductive! I've used other cushions with mirror-like cases for a long time. While the mirror is very useful, it gets a lot of fingerprints and scratches easily when carried around in a bag. These imperfections become very noticeable, making it look quite worn out by the time you've used up the refill... We'll have to see if this one's the same, but at least the sides are matte, which helps. If you usually use shades 21-22? -> Shade 21 should work well for you. If you have shade 21 skin but want a brighter, more radiant color? -> Consider applying shade 17 thinly.
