I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to avoid going out bare-faced but still desires a natural, 'no-makeup' look.

The coverage is minimal. Even with multiple layers, I couldn't notice much difference.

The Dr.G brand is known for its gentle ingredients. It's moisturizing enough for winter use without being drying. I didn't need to layer on a lot of base products, and it still worked well. Personally, I prefer mesh cushions, and this one applies smoothly with a nice hydrating feel. Even though my skin is slightly lighter than shade 21, I think this could work for various complexions.

The coverage is quite low, almost like a sun cushion. Even with relatively good skin, it feels less like a foundation cushion and more like other brands' foundation-free brightening sunscreams in terms of coverage. It might not be compatible with my skincare routine, as it pills around the cheekbones. I'll need to try changing my base products, applying it more thinly, or switching puffs to resolve this. Update: Switching to a richer base eliminated the pilling! Also, I found it's better to finish one area (like the cheeks) before moving to the next, rather than dotting it all over. This helps it adhere better without sliding. Why does it become more appealing the more I use it?

This product seems to have a clear target for light, hydrating makeup. It truly delivers a glowing finish without feeling heavy. It lets your natural skin show through, so there's likely not much difference between shades 21 and 23. The ingredients seem gentle - I have sensitive skin and didn't experience any reactions.

However, it only manages to lock in moisture. It's so hydrating that it doesn't adhere well to the face. You can't build up coverage, and even with one application, it just sits on the skin in clumps. If they could fix this issue, it would be a holy grail cushion. But since it starts breaking down as soon as you apply it, I find myself not reaching for it.

Out of all the glow cushions I've tried, this one caused the least irritation and didn't make my skin feel suffocated. Plus, it gives the most radiant glow - it's seriously dazzling!

This cushion seems to be for those who have flawless skin and only need their skin texture to look good!

There was a review saying it's more like a tone-up cushion or sun cushion rather than a regular cushion, and I completely agree with that review.

1. Lacks coverage
Heal:us even promotes it as a product that makes your skin texture look pretty 'rather than coverage'... so it's really hard to expect any coverage. I've been struggling with adult acne and redness lately, and this product alone doesn't cover anything at all. You need to use a concealer with it.

2. Insufficient adherence
As a rhinitis patient facing the changing seasons, I've been dealing with a runny nose lately. While it's partly my fault for ruthlessly torturing my nose with tissues, it's disappointing that not only does the makeup come off where the tissue touched, but you can even see the texture of the tissue. The adherence is really lacking.

3. Not great for touch-ups
Since it's a moisturizing product, I tried using it for touch-ups, but it tends to pill and break down. It looks really unattractive... patchy.. cakey.. creasing.. I was shocked when I checked my face condition after coming home!

1. A moisturizing cushion perfect for dry skin types
As someone with desert-like skin that cracks during seasonal changes and winter, my first thought upon using this product was 'Oh! It's so hydrating!' You can feel the moisture along with a slight cooling effect.

2. Subtle luminous glow
Among glow cushions, I don't prefer those that are overly shiny, but this one has a beautifully subtle glow. It seems suitable for those who prioritize a pretty glow over coverage, or for those blessed with blemish-free skin.

3. Easy to control amount
Usually, when you first buy a cushion, it's hard to control the amount and too much comes out, right? Since this product has a mesh cushion, it wasn't difficult to control the amount even right after opening.

If you're using it for makeup, you'll definitely need to use a makeup base or concealer. However, Healence can easily look patchy if you layer it incorrectly, so you need to apply the concealer carefully as well.

The drawbacks of this cushion become more apparent depending on the condition (whether you've applied a base or it's on bare skin) and how much time has passed. That's why I've mixed these points into the main review above.

First and foremost, this cushion truly lives up to its name as a 'Breath Cushion'. It seems to really strive for that natural, barely-there look. I'm currently using shades 21 and 22.

↘️ At 1 point: When used alone on bare skin after skincare, without sunscreen. It's so subtle you can hardly tell if you've applied anything. There's barely any change in coverage or brightening - even less than sunscreen. The only noticeable difference is a slight glow, which can look a bit shiny if you're not careful.

👉 Use the Healence concealer or any other concealer
👉 Use a makeup base (especially one that brightens)
👉 Apply sunscreen

With concealer, the coverage and brightening improve dramatically. Just be careful with the amount of concealer - it can suddenly make the cushion look too bright if you overdo it.

Even at 3.5 points of coverage, there's still room for improvement compared to other cushions: it can look patchy and requires some skill to apply well.

When I watched YouTube reviews of Healence, I noticed Hoo*eon also compared it to Hince in a recent upload.

Hoo*eon explained the best aspects of Healence very well. As someone who's used it, I understood the underlying meaning of the YouTuber's comments.

It's okay for occasional use, but a bit tricky as a main product, so I give it 3 points.
I use it sometimes, but never on important days.
I use it for casual outings or on days without much wind (as it sticks well to the skin).

After thorough testing, I noticed some darkening, and in areas where oil tends to come through, the cushion seems to slightly melt. The longevity and breakdown of the product aren't particularly impressive.

While the initial texture and glow are beautiful, later on, powder touch-ups become necessary (especially in the U-zone and T-zone). After powdering, that initial pretty glow disappears.

While it somewhat corrects redness through tone evening, I'd say it lacks in coverage.
(I'd recommend this to those with dry skin who don't need much coverage and prioritize a luminous finish!)

For me, it's more of a tone-up cushion with sun protection features rather than a full cushion foundation.

This is an incredibly hydrating mesh cushion. While not perfect, it's a plus that it offers some sun protection. Mesh cushions are great because the particles are filtered through the mesh, resulting in better application and adherence to the skin.

It comes in two shades, 21 and 23, and is the Healuce cushion made by Dr.G. (Created in collaboration with beauty YouTuber Dear Jerry)

Its strong points are its moisturizing properties and slight cooling effect. Right after application, it gives a beautiful luminous finish that enhances skin texture.

From my experience, I think it might be more suitable for those who often feel dryness in their skin.

I received the product, but the cushion case arrived with numerous scratches. Given its plastic material, it seems prone to scratching with regular use.

This product requires quite a bit of technique to apply properly. When I tried to spread it slightly, it pilled excessively. It also left noticeable imprints, so I had to resort to only patting it on. My hair kept sticking to it constantly.

After about an hour, it had mostly worn off in the T-zone. I left it on longer to test its longevity, but the skin finish wasn't pretty. It broke down significantly and even caused some darkening.

When I ran my finger over it, it transferred very heavily. It also rubbed off considerably onto my mask. By evening, I noticed some blemishes popping up on my skin, likely due to my hair sticking to it all day.

I tried to touch up by reapplying the cushion, but it pilled and clumped so badly that the photos were too unflattering to post.

My skin type is sensitive and dry, with only slight oiliness in the T-zone during summer.

I tested this during winter, and I've never experienced my T-zone makeup disappearing so quickly with a cushion before.

This cushion claims to contain 70% essence and has completed breathability tests to ensure the skin can 'breathe' comfortably even after makeup application.

While my skin did feel incredibly light, the issues with imprinting, transfer, and blemishes suggest that either something about this product doesn't suit me, or it's incompatible with my usual skincare routine.

I tested it for three consecutive days, and I think my high expectations led to significant disappointment with this product.

To use this product effectively, it seems you'd need to create a separate skincare routine specifically tailored to it.
