If I had to describe the color in one sentence, I'd say it's a delicate, moderately saturated nude coral. It's described as having a honey peach vibe, which I think is spot on! Some of the other Rom&nd lip products I've tried before were more saturated and darker than shown on their official website, which was disappointing. But this lip tint doesn't have that issue, so I'm really grateful for that alone! I applied it on moisturized lips with a light natural lip color, and it initially went on quite sheer but the color built up as I applied more. The initial color and the tint itself give a warm, natural lip look. It's a nude peach color with a fair amount of white undertone, but as you apply more, it becomes closer to a medium tone. The milky texture is nice, and it gives a slight staining effect with a pretty subtle glow. I'm so relieved that the color turned out beautiful! The staying power is not bad either. It doesn't come off easily with minor contact (like drinking water) but does wear off a bit on the inner part of the lips when eating. I'd say the longevity is moderate. As for the scent, it has a slightly sweet fragrance that's hard to describe (I think it might be yogurt-like!). Personally, I found the scent okay. (I've color-corrected the lip swatch to make it look as close to reality as possible!)
ConsThere seems to be a slight 'yogurt effect' where the glow sits a bit on top, but it's not severe and it's really minimal, so I think it's manageable. It's not as moisturizing or glowy as I expected. It's more like a milky formula with a slight glow added. My lips tend to develop fine lines easily, and this product seems to settle into those lines a bit. If you blot it once with a tissue, the glow disappears, but you can still achieve a nice stained look, which I like! Make sure to moisturize well before applying, as it can dry out over time and create some pilling. Also, the applicator tip makes it a bit difficult to apply evenly to the outer edges of the lips. I think I prefer flat tips to rounded ones, but it could just be my lack of technique! As time passed, the scent seemed to change a bit. Originally, it was just a sweet, honey-like scent, but it started to develop a slightly sour note. The color is still pretty, but the scent has become a bit sour and it seems to have developed more shine. It also seems to stain less than before. I'm not sure if I should have mixed it more thoroughly... I can't pinpoint the cause.
TipFor me, the inner part of my lips stains more easily, so I just apply it evenly all over. I slightly overline my upper lip when applying. You can also create a stained look by blotting once with a tissue!
