  When I apply this, my makeup does adhere better than without it. However, it doesn't completely prevent makeup from separating - I still noticed some patchiness.

  If you use this when your skin is in poor condition, it's a disaster. It really stings and causes redness - you'll end up at the dermatologist's office.

  Skin type: Oily, Combination dehydrated skin Recently, when I applied makeup, my nose and cheeks would get really patchy and dry. But now, if I apply this product before putting on makeup, it doesn't flake at all and creates a perfectly moisturized base for makeup application.

  Cons

  For some reason, when I apply this product, my face feels a bit warm. Also, I once applied it to my mom's face, and the next day she had a few red blemishes appear. I recommend patch testing before use, especially if you have super sensitive skin.

  It might be beneficial to cool down your face before applying this product.

It's not the kind of shine that comes from excess oil - when you touch your skin, it feels soft and matte, but there's this curious tightening sensation? That's the kind of glow it provides. I bought it after seeing YouTubers share their tips for achieving that 'Inner Glow' look. You need to apply it sparingly, as using too much can actually interfere with your makeup. Some people even apply it and then gently wipe it off with a pad.

  Pros

  This product is amazing for dead skin cell care! Even though I used to get flaky skin no matter what I did, applying this once completely eliminated any visible dead skin cells. It doesn't leave your skin feeling fresh per se, but it does make it feel firm and supple. My makeup doesn't pill at all with this on. Also, despite many reviews saying there's not enough product, I've been using it for about 3 months and have only gone through half the bottle.

  Cons

  While my friend loved it, when a family member tried it, they unfortunately broke out with blemishes.
