The texture feels like a smooth velvet, but it's not super moisturizing, so I always pair it with a lip balm. When applied, it's not a bold or flashy color, but rather a versatile, everyday shade.

As someone who prefers matte lips over glossy ones, I'm always on the lookout for great matte lipsticks. With the colder weather and my naturally dry lips, most matte formulas would cause a lot of dead skin cells to appear. However, this product is different! It causes less flaking than other matte lipsticks and doesn't dry out my lips as much.

Plus, I've found the perfect base color I've been searching for! I take my lip application seriously, and gradient effects are super important to me. I bought this along with shade 05 'Doto Vibe', and when I use them together, the result is absolutely stunning!

Update: I tried it again, and if I apply it over a cushion foundation to neutralize my lip color, it turns into an odd beige shade. I bought this thinking it would be super light and have a white tinge like the Romand Warming Up, intending to use it as a lip base. But when I actually applied it, I realized it might be even better on its own! It doesn't settle into wrinkles too much and has a lovely velvety texture. If the color had been just right, I think I'd use it all the time.

There's absolutely zero hydration. If you have any flaky skin, it won't apply beautifully. Unfortunately, the lid's locking mechanism broke during use, so it no longer closes properly.

Excellent as a base lip product and perfect for achieving a natural no-makeup look. It's a completely matte formula, not moisturizing at all, so make sure to exfoliate thoroughly before application to remove dead skin cells.
