I was worried because my skin condition hasn't been great lately, but my skin actually took to it better than I expected. The texture is a thin liquid with low viscosity. I noticed that distinct metallic scent of pure vitamin C that I'd only heard about before. It took some getting used to at first, but I don't even notice it now. Though if it gets in your mouth, it tastes like you're eating a vitamin supplement... I only applied it at night, and I can definitely say my complexion looks brighter. I'll need to use it longer to see effects on small acne scars, but I'm satisfied with how it's evened out my skin tone overall.
ConsGiven the nature of the product, there is a sticky feeling and oiliness that can feel a bit heavy. Fortunately, I didn't experience any blemishes, but my skin did feel somewhat congested. I'm not sure if all pure vitamin C products are like this. The formula is quite runny, so when you squeeze the dropper onto your face, it tends to drip down quickly. It's a bit inconvenient having to pat it quickly on one cheek, then squeeze more out for the other side.
TipMake sure to refrigerate after opening. Be careful not to apply it to any areas with open wounds on your skin - it can sting if you've recently popped a pimple or have any cuts. Use caution around sensitive areas.

The ampoule has a very runny consistency, so be careful not to let it drip into your eyes when applying. It does sting a bit on acne scars, so I tried to avoid those areas. At first, I wasn't sure if it was working, but after two weeks of use, I noticed some improvement. While the effects weren't dramatic, you can see in the photos that my blemishes have faded somewhat compared to before. However, the change wasn't as significant as I'd hoped. The texture was too heavy for morning use, so I only applied it before bed each night. Initially, I was surprised by how sticky it felt, but it became more comfortable once I applied cream over it.
ConsI don't think this formula suited my skin very well. From my perspective, it was far too oily. During the two weeks I used it, I developed quite a few small bumps on my skin. I suspect this was due to my oily skin type. Instead of reducing blemishes, it seemed to cause more small blemishes for me. I found this product quite disappointing for my needs. If you have oily skin, I'd recommend thinking twice before purchasing. While other reviewers seemed to have good experiences, that wasn't the case for me. I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, but I wouldn't personally buy it again.

Your skin's condition improves dramatically the next day! The highly concentrated ampoule feeling was a bit much for my oily skin to use daily, but it worked well when used once every three days. While it didn't completely eliminate dark spots or blemishes, I loved how my entire complexion looked brighter the next morning. This routine worked best for my oily skin: hydrating toner - Citrus Unshiu Vita ampoule - lightweight moisturizer. It's too warm to use frequently now, but I'd love to try this ampoule again when autumn comes around.
ConsPerhaps due to its high vitamin content, the scent wasn't particularly pleasant. However, it's not bothersome once you layer on moisturizer! The sticky and rich texture might be challenging for those with oily skin to use in summer! Recommended for seasons other than summer! While it's meant to be used within a month after opening, it seems difficult to finish even with nightly application in that timeframe.
TipIf the texture feels too heavy, try applying a small amount only on areas with dark spots or blemishes! I recommend avoiding use if you have unhealed wounds on your skin. It stings quite a bit if it touches open cuts... ouch!

I applied it after every cleanse, hoping for brighter skin. While I expected a light texture given the vitamin content, it was surprisingly rich. I liked that just one application was enough to keep my skin from feeling dry!
ConsWhen I first applied it to my bare face, it stung a bit. Applying a thin layer of moisturizer first helped somewhat, but the tingling sensation never completely went away. It might not be the right product for me. The rich texture also made my face feel oily quickly. Most importantly, the burning sensation prevented me from using it consistently.
TipI had high hopes for this product due to its vitamin content, but unfortunately, I couldn't properly test it out. What a shame!

After getting used to it, I applied it as the first step in my skincare routine, letting it absorb well. With 27% vitamin C, it has a higher concentration compared to other products I've researched. I was cautious about potential irritation due to the high content, but after monitoring my skin's reaction, I found it didn't cause significant blemishes. Comparing before and after photos, while I'm not sure about the darker spots yet, the lighter areas of hyperpigmentation have brightened, making me want to continue using it!
ConsGiven the high vitamin C content, there's a slight tingling sensation, and it has a bit of a rich texture with a unique scent, which I found somewhat disappointing. However, since I apply a small amount in the evening, it works well for me.
TipI love that I can also apply it to my body, like elbows, heels, and neck. As a precaution, I wash the areas where I applied it in the evening during my morning routine. I believe I've read that it's incompatible with products containing retinol, and that it should be used with sunscreen during the day.

Usually, vitamin ampoules can be quite irritating and make skin sensitive, but this product wasn't harsh on my skin at all, which I loved. I didn't experience any blemishes after using it! It seems to help improve skin texture. I only applied it at night, but I noticed my skin felt smoother. The scent is quite neutral, so I don't think many people will have strong opinions about it either way. As it's a high-concentration vitamin product, I felt it was effective for spot care. I had some pigmentation left from acne scars, and I noticed they became much lighter!
ConsIt oxidizes quickly, so it needs to be refrigerated, which can be a bit inconvenient. However, I understand this is unavoidable due to the nature of vitamin ampoules. The finish feels a bit rich, so those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy.
TipIt might pill if applied before makeup, so I only used it after cleansing in the evening. To prevent any potential irritation, I followed up with a barrier cream, which worked well (I used Aestura cream). Also, applying a sheet mask after the ampoule can enhance absorption, so it might be good to finish with a mask after application.

Like thin nasal mucus? *Scent: Should be green tangerine, but also somewhat reminiscent of a metallic smell. *Quantity: Might not be enough for those who generously apply skincare, but since it's a functional product, I don't think many people use too much of it. So it doesn't seem too little. Being 16g, it's not a lot either; *Experience: My skin isn't particularly sensitive, so I didn't do a patch test and applied it directly to my face without any significant irritation. It was fine when I used a small amount, but when I applied too much due to poor quantity control, it felt sticky. Like applying oil all over your face? The feeling didn't last long, but that momentary sensation was unpleasant, so you need to control the amount well. It's a very runny formula, but when I applied a lot, I was surprised by the sudden oiliness. Fortunately, it absorbs well. It's good that it absorbs well without immediately drying out the skin. I felt some irritation when I applied it after exfoliating, but that's to be expected and something the user should be careful about, so I'll give that a pass since I used it absent-mindedly.
ConsThose with oily, combination, or combination dehydrated skin must control the amount. The oiliness when applying too much is unpleasant.
