The photos show the progression: before application, after peeling and tidying up, and finally with a clear lip gloss applied (face mosaicked except for lips). The color payoff was just right - neither too intense nor too subtle - and looked like my natural lip color. It feels a bit pricey, and when applied, it was quite painful - not sure if it's due to the plumping effect or my lip condition. Up close, you can see some areas where the color clumps together. I'll use it once, but I won't be repurchasing. It looks pretty if you apply a thin layer to the bottom lip after peeling off the first application. I recommend leaving it on for at least 15 minutes. Apply evenly, including the inner parts of your lips, and use a thicker layer for easier peeling. I suggest not using it immediately after applying lip balm.
