Once applied, the mask sheet clings tightly to the skin without much fuss. I made sure to press it on carefully to avoid air bubbles. After removing, I immediately noticed a temporary but visible brightening effect and a boost of intense hydration. I feel this product could be a great alternative to a dermatologist visit before a big day, when you really want your skin to look its best.
ConsThe scent of the first step reminds me of old-fashioned floral cosmetics... It has a very strong fragrance like my mother's skincare products, which I personally dislike. Having to smell it while wearing the mask was a bit unpleasant. The mask sheet tears very easily if you try to adjust it after removing the film backing. You need to position it correctly before peeling off the film, but this is tricky because the film is quite stiff. Every time I used it, I had to slightly adjust the position around my eyes, which always resulted in tearing near the cheeks. It takes some time to apply, and the recommended usage time is quite long. This, combined with the price, means it's not something I'd reach for frequently. It feels like a treatment you really need to commit to using.

I'd only taken glutathione orally before, but I discovered there's a film mask version for the face too! I was saving it for a special occasion, but I tried it yesterday to write this review. What I liked: ✔️ Many reviews mentioned an unpleasant scent, but I personally found it fine! I'm usually sensitive to fragrances, but this one was just noticeable, nothing more. ✔️ The cooling effect right after application is no joke! It felt like it instantly cooled down my face. I don't usually have much redness, so I can't compare that effect. ✔️ My skin is quite sensitive and prone to blemishes, but this didn't cause any. It even seemed to calm a small pimple that was starting to form on my cheek. ✔️ While I didn't notice dramatically firmer or brighter skin, it definitely felt more supple. I think makeup would apply beautifully over this. I'd love to use this before an important event and follow up with perfect makeup. It's not the most budget-friendly option, but I imagine if the effects are similar to a dermatologist treatment, this could be much more cost-effective!
Cons✔️ The film is very thin and adheres well, so you need to be careful when peeling it off to avoid tearing. ✔️ Hair sticks to the film very easily, and it tends to get tangled. ✔️ The instructions suggest using it for 1-3 hours. I wanted to go for the full 3 hours, but it started drying out too much around the 2-hour mark, so I had to remove it then. I think 3 hours might be a bit challenging.
TipMake sure to tie your hair back before use! Be careful when peeling it off. Watch out for your nails... It can tear easily!

You apply the ampoule all over your face before attaching the face film. It provides substantial nourishment and hydration. When first applied, the transparent ampoule on the film mixes with the separate white ampoule (thin cream texture), making it difficult to secure and causing it to drip. As time passes and the ampoule absorbs, it adheres to the face, becoming firm and completely fixed. After that, it doesn't budge at all. Usually, you finish with a cream after using a mask pack, but the House of V Glutathione Film is so concentrated and generous in quantity (be careful not to use all the concentrated ampoule at once!) (there's enough to cover your neck and still have half left) that adding cream might feel too heavy. I finished without cream (for combination dehydrated skin) and felt no deep dryness even after some time. There's some stickiness after removal, causing occasional tingling sensations throughout the night. The next day, you can see temporary effects of Inner Glow, brightening, improved skin texture, and hydration. It's great for special care when you need intense hydration and nourishment, like during seasonal changes or winter months.
ConsThe sheet is a flimsy film material with stiff transparent backing on both sides. When trying to remove one side to apply to your face, it's concerning that it might scratch the skin and is difficult to handle due to its rigidity. It would have been better if the final backing to be removed was made of a softer material.
TipFor prolonged effects, use the remaining concentrated ampoule the day after using the mask pack. Instead of using it as a regular skincare product, apply it generously all over your face after evening cleansing, treating it like an overnight cream mask.

Texture/Application This product consists of an ampoule and a face film. You apply the ampoule first, then place the face film on top. The ampoule has a viscous texture but feels light when applied. It's somewhere between a moisturizer and an ampoule in terms of feel. The face film is thin with excellent adherence, and it has its own active ingredients, so you need to adjust the amount of ampoule you use. While the face film alone might not be enough for a full treatment, it's not completely ineffective on its own. Though I hadn't intended to use it for night care, after applying all of the ampoule and attaching the face film, I had to lie down as the mask kept sliding down my face. It's difficult to move around with this on, but you can carefully turn to your side. The face film isn't sticky and feels smooth, so it doesn't stick to bedding. After use, I was surprised to see my skin had a glow as if a thin film had been applied. The redness I had before was reduced, and my dull areas looked slightly brighter. Usually, even with good nighttime care, I feel deep dryness after washing my face in the morning. However, after using the Glutathione Face Film, I didn't feel any dryness even before applying my morning skincare products. I noticed the biggest effect after washing my face in the morning. B. Irritation I was slightly worried when I read about micro-needles in the product description, but there was no irritation. Also, I usually get oily breakouts when using high-concentration products, but I didn't experience that either. C. Scent It has a common cosmetic fragrance. It's not too strong in the face film, but quite noticeable in the ampoule. If you're sensitive to scents, apply less ampoule near your nose.
ConsThe face film is made to adhere well to the skin, which makes it very thin and easy to tear if you're not careful. This type of mask is naturally more difficult to apply than fabric sheet masks. The protective film on both sides of the product is stiffer than expected and doesn't separate easily from the face film, making application a bit tricky. If you try to remove one side and stick it to your face before removing the other, the face film tends to come off with the protective film, moving it out of place. Removing both protective films before application risks the face film sticking to itself or tearing due to its thinness. Peeling off half at a time requires quite a bit of skill.
TipIf you plan to be active while wearing it, apply the ampoule thinly or let it absorb into your skin a bit before attaching the face film. Although the face film has good adherence due to its thinness, it still tends to slide down from its initial position. Adjust the amount using the ampoule (Step 1). For nighttime care, use all of the ampoule. Start by applying a small amount and letting it fully absorb, then layer on the rest more thickly before applying the face film. This way, you'll feel like you're still masking even after removing the film. While it's said to be usable for up to 3 hours, I personally think it's best to remove it within 2 hours. After about 1.5 hours, I noticed the face film starting to dry out, causing a slight tightness in the center of my face.
