I highly recommend this product! It's as moisturizing as a gel emulsion, absorbs beautifully, and doesn't irritate the eyes at all. While everything else is great, the one downside is that it doesn't have any brightening effects. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 6, 2025
It doesn't feel like a typical sunscreen at all. It's an incredibly lightweight emulsion that applies effortlessly. As someone who usually dislikes sunscreens, I find this one comfortable to use and I'm enjoying it. Don't expect any brightening effects. It's purely for sun protection. As for the scent, being a sunscreen, it naturally has that characteristic sunscreen smell. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 2, 2025
Recommended if you want a sunscreen that absorbs quickly and feels light. Not recommended if you're looking for light makeup coverage. - Suitable for combination skin with oily T-zone and prone to small bumps - Neutral scent that doesn't polarize opinions - Extremely lightweight texture, similar to a hydrating emulsion, absorbs well - Doesn't leave a greasy residue - Doesn't cause pilling when applying makeup afterwards You might be disappointed if you're expecting more brightening or makeup-like effects - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 20, 2024
This sunscreen applies smoothly like an emulsion and absorbs quickly, which I love! Its lightweight feel is a big plus, allowing for easy and carefree application. It doesn't provide any brightening effect, so you might need to use a separate brightening moisturizer if you want to even out your skin tone. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 12, 2024
This product is just like the stick version, but in sunscreen form. It's a regular liquid texture, so I'd still recommend the stick more. Like the stick, it's not completely oil-free. The scent isn't artificial - it's more like a very subtle hint of a classic perfume your mom might wear. I bought it during a buy-one-get-one-free deal at Olive Young, and I'm still using the first bottle because it lasts so long! Apart from the lack of brightening effect and the slight richness, I can't think of any other downsides. If you're looking for a brightening effect, you could try applying a cushion foundation over this product. Just be careful not to apply too much sunscreen, or the cushion might pill. Applying a moderate amount works best. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJul 29, 2024
Affordable and great! I'm on my 6th bottle and haven't even thought about trying anything else. It's perfect for layering multiple times. The way it absorbs is fantastic, and there's no white cast, making it so convenient to use generously. Those looking for a brightening moisturizer effect might be a bit disappointed. For evening skin tone, I'd recommend trying the Plant Nation Rice Sun Gel instead. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 28, 2024
I've been using this sunscreen exclusively for 8 years. It applies smoothly without any stickiness, leaving a fresh feel. It's perfect for a light application. I have super sensitive skin, and usually heavier products cause immediate reactions, but this one has never given me any issues in all these years. While it seems like it would suit all skin types, those looking for a slight brightening effect might be disappointed. There's absolutely no white cast, which means it doesn't provide any tone-up benefits. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 13, 2024
I absolutely love this product! I've been using it for a year now. It applies just like a hydrating emulsion, and when you put makeup on top, it creates the perfect base. It's a transparent sunscreen, so there's no white cast. Honestly, it's amazing! There's nothing particularly bad about it. Just keep in mind that it doesn't have any brightening effects. If you let it absorb for a bit before applying makeup, it works wonderfully as a base. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 2, 2024
It left my skin feeling soft and powdery, which was perfect for summer use! I didn't notice any excess oil production as the day went on. It didn't leave a white cast, and the finish was just like applying an emulsion. No eye irritation either! As someone with dry skin, I found it a bit insufficient when used as a base with sunscreen. I also missed having a brightening effect, which was a bit disappointing. I highly recommend this for those with oily skin! When I gave it to my boyfriend, he absolutely loved it. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 26, 2024
True to its name, it applies and absorbs just like an emulsion! There's absolutely no stickiness, and it doesn't leave your skin feeling heavy like some sunscreens do. It's great for reapplication, which is why I love using it during the summer months. There's no brightening effect whatsoever. It might make the T-zone a bit oily.
