The price is a bit steep. That's the only downside. I actually prefer its rich texture.

Whoa, what's this? My blackheads faded right after using it. I could actually see them getting lighter as soon as I applied it, but I thought, 'Nah, it must be my imagination.' But now, on the morning of the third day, after using it four times, my blackheads have noticeably diminished... They're much lighter, much smaller, and there are far fewer of them. My pores have shrunk, and even my redness has faded. I'm amazed - what is this sorcery? La Mer... you work hard!

There's nothing particularly disappointing about the product itself... maybe just the price? It would be great if they had sales more often.

The texture seemed a bit thick at first, but once absorbed, it didn't feel tight on my skin and was quite nice. It has a pleasant powdery scent.

The thick consistency might be a drawback for some, as it takes a bit of time to spread and absorb into the face. Also, the high price point can make purchasing and regular use quite burdensome.

This cream is a must-apply before bed when my face gets extremely dry during winter. It has a rich texture that melts with body heat upon contact, absorbing well into the skin. I'm personally satisfied with its powdery scent, which I find very pleasant.

Considering the ingredients and performance of this cream compared to its regular price, I think there are plenty of options available in more affordable lines. Unless I can buy it at duty-free prices, I probably won't repurchase it!

I used it from January 24th to 25th. It's definitely noticeable that when I wake up, my skin feels hydrated and any irritated areas have calmed down!

I can't think of any downsides to write about... I've been using this for years.

Even after applying this and going to the ski resort, my face doesn't feel tight! For someone with severe deep dryness, this is my go-to product for fall and winter.

You'd be better off buying and generously applying 10 different types of barrier creams instead of this one cream.

The price is the biggest issue... While La Mer claims their patented fermented seaweed helps skin regeneration, apart from the smooth application and decent hydration, I didn't notice any extraordinary improvements or recovery in my skin. Whether I used this cream alone or layered it over a serum, I couldn't see any changes in my skin condition the next day. It didn't even seem to help calm my minor blemishes. If this were priced in the $30-$50 range, I might have been satisfied with its performance. However, considering there are many creams on the market with better ingredients and technology at just a tenth of La Mer's price, it feels incredibly disappointing for the cost.

Out of all the creams I've tried, this one felt the richest and most hydrating. It's similar to Physiogel cream in texture - thick and creamy, but when applied it spreads into a watery yet rich formula that absorbs well. The scent is like baby powder with a subtle musk, reminiscent of talcum powder. The fragrance isn't overpowering, so unless you're particularly sensitive, it should be fine. I noticed significantly less dryness even the next day.

Apparently, you're supposed to scoop out a bit onto the back of your hand, melt it, and then apply it to your face.

First off, having to melt it before use was inconvenient. It's almost like a balm, so rich that it felt too greasy on my skin...

The design...? It gives off a luxurious feel, I suppose. I tried it because it's so famous.

The effects are barely noticeable, yet the price is so high... I'm curious why this brand is so expensive.

I splurged on this pricey product, taking a big leap. The texture is identical to clotted cream you'd spread on scones. A little goes a long way, covering your entire face.

Activate a small amount by warming it between your hands, then gently pat and spread it onto your face.

The rich formula might lead to some whiteheads if used continuously, especially as your skin condition improves. It should be fine in the depths of winter though. As it's a rich balm that locks in moisture at the final step of your routine, it's best to use a different moisturizer in the previous steps.

This rich balm-like cream has a lovely natural scent and spreads smoothly. For best results, focus on hydrating skincare steps and finish with a thin layer of this cream for long-lasting moisture. It feels nourishing and the subtle fragrance lingers beautifully. Perfect for winter, but also great for targeted application on dry patches, especially around the temples for those of us in our 30s dealing with dead skin cells and dehydration issues. 

A few hours after application, I noticed inflamed, bumpy red areas had smoothed out completely. My skin texture became as silky as it was in my 20s, with a beautiful glow, and my face even looked slimmer! It's incredible. I thought I was using good products before, including Sulwhasoo's First Care Activating Serum, but La Mer is truly exceptional. This cream works like magic on damaged skin, rejuvenates healthy skin, and provides robust winter hydration. It's as effective as a steroid ointment without actually containing steroids - absolutely amazing!

Make sure to warm it up thoroughly before applying. Instead of patting it on, press it gently into your skin. It seems more effective to use it occasionally rather than daily!

The price and ingredients are a bit disappointing. Also, it feels a bit cumbersome having to warm the cream in your hands before applying. On its own, the cream doesn't provide enough hydration!

The moment you apply it, your skin feels soothed, and by the next day, your skin texture becomes noticeably smoother. When you warm it between your fingertips and apply, it spreads thinly and evenly with a silky smooth feeling. I highly recommend this as a regenerating cream!
