The texture is firmer than Yves Saint Laurent's Volupté, with a nice balance of shine and hydration, making it great for daily use. It adheres thinly and lightly, feeling comfortable on the lips. While Volupté has amazing shine but can feel a bit heavy, Love Shine hits the sweet spot. The color appears as a nude pink with a hint of lilac. One or two swipes bring out your natural lip color without the product color being too prominent. Layering it on thickly doesn't look as flattering. You can see the difference in the swatches - the first photo shows one application, while the next shows multiple layers with a significant color difference. For me, a thick application makes my skin tone look dull, so I often use it as a moisturizing, glossy base. It reminds me of Chanel Rouge Coco Flash in Freeze (118), Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Lilac, and Rom&nd Matte Lipstick in Pink Sand (10), though the textures make the colors quite different. It's lightweight. If you're using it alone, it's perfect for those with naturally reddish lips or those who prefer light makeup, giving a delicate, dewy look for everyday use. And the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! While the color is pretty, its value for money is questionable. These days, many brands are producing beautiful colors at more affordable prices. Usually, people apply foundation to neutralize their lip color before applying lip products. With this one, you can apply it directly on your natural lip color. For a beautiful lip combination, try gradient or mixing it with other more pigmented products.
