Disappointing points 1) The oiliness makes it look a bit stiff. Using a matte-type foundation might solve this. 2) Over time, white spots appear in the pores, which is disappointing. - Slips and feels uneven when applied. Even when applying the base well and using less, it still feels the same. - Has a very oily and stuffy feeling - Caused skin troubles. First, the ingredients are good. (Reason for using Hwahae) There were no breakouts when actually used. *Important* This product is not just plain white, but has a beige tone-up effect, so it looks natural and not artificial! When applied, it feels moist and has a suitable dewy look, but in the afternoon, it becomes quite oily and greasy. Pros
The tone-up sun cream is called 'tone-up' and I was curious to see how much it would actually tone up my skin. So I applied it only on half of my face and took a photo. Compared to the actual appearance, the difference in tone-up is clearly visible in the photo (one photo with lighting, one without, taken with a camera without any editing). There is no white cast at all, but the tone is just slightly brightened. For people with good skin, this product alone might be enough, but for someone like me with blemishes, a foundation or cushion is essential as it doesn't provide much coverage. (As a makeup base, it has a tendency to get oily, and it doesn't seem to be effective in refining pores.) The texture (spreadability): It's a thin formula, but not to the point of being runny. There's no stickiness at all when applying, and the spreadability is good.
Cons
It's a shame that it tends to get oily. But I haven't experienced any issues with darkening or the makeup breaking down strangely in the afternoon, so I've been using it well in the mornings.
