  First off, it's incredibly gentle. This product sticks to the basics. My skin type is prone to blemishes, combination, sensitive, with occasional redness and super sensitive, but I've never experienced any skin reactions or breakouts after applying it. I usually dislike sticky or heavy textures that feel suffocating, but I generously layer this a couple of times before bed after my evening cleanse. It's non-irritating and works well. Although I bought the smaller size, I used every last drop by squeezing the tube. I'm considering repurchasing. If you're looking for a mild, low-irritation basic hydrating cream, I recommend this.

  When used alone after cleansing, it seems to provide surface hydration and moisturization, but being a cream formula, it appears to lack deep hydration. Due to laziness, I often just apply this after cleansing. I think it would be better to apply a toner or mist to absorb moisture before applying the cream.

  Since it's a cream, it provides more moisturization than hydration. It would probably be better to apply a water-based toner or ampoule to boost hydration before applying the cream.

  Texture: It's like a hybrid between an emulsion and a cream. Not too thick, but not as runny as an emulsion either. Application: It absorbs well into the skin, providing hydration without any greasiness. It's comfortable and pleasant to use. Moisturizing power: Despite having low oil content, it surprisingly doesn't feel dry at all. It kept my skin moisturized well during winter and seasonal changes. However, after about 6 hours, I did feel a slight dryness, so I either sprayed some mist or reapplied this product. Blemishes: It didn't cause any acne or other blemishes. So you can use it without worry!

  Cons

  While there's nothing particularly disappointing, because it's more hydrating than rich, on very windy days or when the air is extremely dry, you might feel a bit of dryness.

  I have persistent acne and scars on my cheeks and chin, and I have combination dehydrated skin that gets dry and flaky with light skincare, but breaks out with anything too rich. I've always known that even slightly oily products would cause my acne to flare up, but thinking I might be past the worst of my acne years and noticing my skin getting drier in winter, I tried an emulsion with shea butter. Within a week, my skin exploded with blemishes, so I reluctantly switched back to lighter products. This product doesn't have any acne-triggering ingredients, it's lightweight, has many positive reviews, and I've had good experiences with Purito's toner and Licorice Calming Cream before, so I decided to give it a try! It definitely has a light, hydrating texture more like a moisturizer than a rich cream. I also appreciate that it comes in a tube rather than a jar, which feels more hygienic. After using it for over a week, I'm relieved that it hasn't caused any new breakouts, so I plan to continue using it.
