Pros

The gel-type formula has a nice bouncy texture that absorbs well and feels refreshing. It contains yellow vitamin capsules that burst quickly as you massage it in. The retinol intensity feels milder than Cica 100. I found it pairs better with thicker, slightly sticky serums after applying the Retinol Shot. When used alone it can feel a bit tacky, but combined with the Retinol Shot it's less sticky. Using them together leaves my skin with a beautiful glow the next day and refines my skin texture.

Cons

No complaints! I've tried various types including Pro Cica and Retinol A Collagen Original, but as a frequent vitamin serum user, this one is my go-to.

Tip

When applying the Retinol Shot, you can massage it in. However, when layering other serums on top, it's best to gently pat them in for better absorption, even if it's a bit more time-consuming. (Avoid rubbing)
